Very nice cozy quiet place we stayed at while on our hunting trip! Was only 15 minutes from the lease, and was close to town! Just partly wish I would've brought my fishing pole
Perfect quiet weekend getaway on the lake.
Reminded me so much of my childhood home.
Truly enjoyed our stay wish had could have stayed a couple more days. Hope to get the chance to stay again.

Glad you enjoyed your stay, you are welcome back anytime😀
Very nice place. Quiet and relaxing. The house was clean and the host replied to my questions within minutes. We will stay again when visiting family living nearby. Much nicer than staying in any of the chain hotels in the area.

Thank you for the kind review. We hope to host you again in the future. I'm so glad you had a nice visit while you were here.
I made a mistake in reviewing you and marked house rules as a 4 star instead of 5. If this is a problem for you I can contact VRBO and try to get it changed. I was working on my phone and didn't see my mistake until after I hit submit.
My elderly mother and I decided to splurge a little and try a vacation property instead of a motel for a July visit to Kentucky to visit my nephew's family. The last two times we've visited, neither motel a/c took the humidity out of the air, and our stay was a little uncomfortable. No such problem here! The a/c was fantastic, although we were blessed with great non-humid weather after the first day. It was nice enough to enjoy mornings on the deck with coffee and we thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry jam and local sourdough bread loaf left by the thoughtful host.
The bedrooms had huge closets and comfortable beds, the living room was great for reading and relaxing. We didn't really use the kitchen this visit, but I'm already thinking about taking a longer trip next year after great-grandchild #3 comes along for Mom.
The only struggle I had was with the small, narrow road leading to the property. Twice, I overshot the turn and had to back up a fair distance. I'll admit operator error, as the owner had given me extra instructions, but just know that you really need to pay attention to arrive at the proper spot.
