Beautiful Lakeside Chalet in the White Mountains. Newly Built - 2023

Beautiful custom built lakeside cabin completed in the spring of 2023.

Built by the owner John, The Sheehan Lakehouse is located in Mountain Lakes New Hampshire at the base of the white mountains. The cabin was constructed to suit and enhance its beautiful surroundings and features big windows and a back deck overlooking a splendid vista of the lake. The interior is full of precision woodworking, artisanal craftsmanship & custom accents.

This property is great for anyone who loves pond recreation and nature. The back yard is landscaped for ease of access and includes a firepit, a fully equipped shed and a private dock leading out into the waterfront. Mountain Lake is an excellent place for fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming in the summer. You are not required to have a fishing license to fish at Mountain Lake! Guests may also access the Mountain Lakes District Beach, swimming pool and playground down the street.

Close to multiple ski areas within 30 minutes. Gas fireplace on upper deck, Wireless internet, cable tv, washer & dryer. Parking for 2 vehicles.15 minutes away from all amenities; gas, grocery store, restaurants etc.

The lake house is lovely with a beautiful view. The house is well stocked, much better than the usual VRBO. The amenities, including kayaks and fire pit were fantastic. Also, this is a convenient location to drive to hiking and other activities. Highly recommend!

Absolutely wonderful home and property! Everything was super clean and comfortable. Had all the amenities we could ask for. The lake is beautiful! We had so much fun kayaking and using the paddle boat. We stayed as a family of four and there was more than enough room. We would 100% stay here again!!

Why they chose this property

The Mountain Lakes district is an excellent community with access to a clean and well managed lake and municipal recreation areas. Purchasing the lot on Mountain Lake presented an inspiring opportunity to build another lakehouse after selling (in 2010) a previous lakeside house he built.

The care and craftsmanship put into the custom design and carpentry. The attention to detail and use of high quality and unique materials. The large windows, the refurbished chair lift bench.
