About this property
Sedona Sanctuary
Summary:
2 BR/2 Bath second floor condo that has a pull out sofa in living room with a queen sized bed. Ideal for a group of friends or families. Close proximity to restaurants & shops, and a grocery store right across the street.
Sedona Golf Resort & Oakcreek Country Club are just around the corner. Bell & Cathedral Rock trail systems are just miles down the road for mountain bikers and hikers.
The complex has a pool and hot tub as well as pickle ball & tennis courts.
The Space:
The condo has a recently renovated kitchen, which is perfect for making meals after a long day of adventuring. There is a coffee nook, which has all of the items required for your caffeine needs, including a drip coffee maker, coffee grinder and milk frother.
There is a master bedroom with a king bed and full bath, along with a smart TV. The second bedroom has a queen bed, smart TV, and access to a full bath, walking past the laundry facilities.
The living room has a pull out sofa, as well as a large smart TV. The patio off the living room is a great place to relax and enjoy your morning coffee.
The condo will be a wonderful home base from which to explore, as mentioned, there are nearby activities for everyone.
If hiking/mountain biking nor golf are on your list of interests, you can book a spa appointment at Eforea spa at the nearby Hilton.
The complex has tennis courts and pickle ball, and the community pool and hot tub are a great way to wind down after a long day of enjoying all Sedona has to offer.
Guest Access:
You’ll enter the complex, where there are plenty of parking spots for guests. The unit is on the second (top) floor, so no worries of hearing footsteps from an upstairs neighbor.
The Neighborhood:
Located south of central Sedona, the Village of Oak Creek is home to some of Sedona's top hiking trails and one of the city's most iconic attractions: the Chapel of the Holy Cross.
Cruising down the Red Rock Scenic Byway or AZ-179 is quite the experience. When you exit off of Interstate 17, turn left and follow the winding road. From there, red rocks will quickly come into view and make this one of the most memorable drives you’ll ever take. The rest of this winding road is punctuated by red rocks and blue sky all around you. The road ends in central Sedona.
The Village of Oak Creek is home to some of Sedona’s most recognizable red rock formations including this trail’s namesake, Bell Rock. If you’re searching for a meandering relatively easy hike that includes wide open spaces and one of Sedona’s most iconic red rocks, this is the trail for you. You’ll see Bell Rock almost immediately after you start your hike. Begin your trail at the Little Horse Trailhead and finish at Bell Rock Trailhead for a hike that’s 3.6 miles one way.
Courthouse Butte is another one of the most iconic red rock formations in town, and its titular hike offers up plenty of red rock views. This moderate 4.5-mile loop will take you around the base of, you guessed it, Courthouse Butte. At the midway point, your views will include Courthouse Butte and Lee Mountain and stretch all the way to Capitol Butte, Cockscomb and even Robbers Roost.
Cathedral Rock – the most-photographed red rock in the town – is one of Sedona’s most iconic hikes. If you want to hike Cathedral Rock, be prepared for a tough jaunt that’s just over one mile. You’ll be hiking up a steep trail and will occasionally have to get on your hands and knees to reach the end of this trail. But like most difficult hikes, the views here are beautiful and make all the effort worth it.
Getting Around:
Parking is available for guests in the condo parking lot.
Other Things to Note:
We have a list in the condo of all of our favorite hikes, trails, restaurants and more.
