About this property

Enjoy the sunning views of Mt. Sopris and the Crystal River Valley from this modern brand new construction home built on the hillside of Red Hill across from the town of Carbondale. Just a minute from the highway to get anywhere in the valley, yet privately secluded in the woods with unobstructed views of the 12,965 ft. peak. This home is sure to make you want to come back!

The house is a modern style cabin full of natural light. The main floor is upstairs and the bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs.

The moment you walk in the door you see a 8' window facing Mount Sopris that brings the outdoors in. The main floor is spacious with 12' vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, a dining table, a couch and a chair. The couch is a queen size sleeper that can accommodate 2 more people. There's an electric fireplace and a smart TV. The washer and dryer are located on this floor. A sliding glass door gives you access to the deck overlooking Sopris and the pinion forest. There's a grill, a dinning table and chairs and a sectional couch on the deck perfect for relaxing after a long day outdoors.

Downstairs are 2 bedrooms with queen beds and 2 ensuite bathrooms. Each bedroom has a walk out sliding glass door to access outside. One bathroom has a walk in shower and the other a bath tub (perfect to bathe kids).

There's a covered patio outside the bedrooms with another sitting area and a gas fire pit and chairs.

The property backs up to BLM. There's abundant wildlife in the are. Deer, elk, turkeys, bunnies and squirrels are the likely to be around.

Amenities: full kitchen, Keurig coffee maker for pods and regular coffee, olive oil and spices, shampoo/conditioner/body soap, board games, TV with Netflix, Disney+, Prime, Peacock TV, 2 yoga matts, beach towels for the hot springs or pool, ski boots/gloves dryer, Christmas tree in December.

The house is located 30 minutes from Aspen and Snowmass and 15 minutes from Glenwood Springs.

PLEASE NOTE: a checkout on December 25th (Christmas Day) or January 1st (New Years Day) will require and additional $100 cleaning fee that will be charged after booking. Please plan accordingly and book a stay with a different checkout day if you don't want to be charged this extra fee.

Magical Mountain Holiday

We rented this beautiful home in Colorado between Basalt and Carbondale right after Christmas. The home is very convenient for skiing Snowmass and Aspen. The property is new and the interior is nicely done. The light of the morning views are picturesque. I met the property owners and they were easy to communicate with and delightful. I would definitely recommend this property and I would rent it again.

This beautiful, well-equipped, modern home, with majestic views overlooking snow-capped Mt. Sopris was the perfect spot to enjoy life for a few days. Situated near a number of iconic communities, the choice of activities was left only to our imagination. Great Views in Beautiful Modern Cabin

The location was amazing with breathtaking views of Mt. Sopris. The home was a beautifully appointed and well designed modern cabin.
