Another wonderful holiday getaway

Great Vacation Getaway!

Our family experienced a very pleasant and wonderful time in such a very exquisite and beautiful home estate. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed playing outside on the spacious and luscious grounds. Manny and the housekeeper were very nice and helpful. We would like to use this home again for other vacations in the near future. Thank you for allowing families to use your fine accommodation.

Wonderful place great acomodations central y located, the guys from Jose to Manny and cleaning crew very accommodating , very relax atmosphere , does not feel like you are in an Urban Area , and I75 is 8 minutes away , and within 20 minutes of Miami south and same for Fort Lauderdale , north , will be back soon ., thanks keep the good work guys

Spacious Mansion for an amazing price !!

I found this property on this site and realized it had no reviews. I was sold on it from the minute I saw the landscaping and the size of the property. After making contact with the owner, he advised I could have someone come and assess the property to see if it met my needs. My friend went and immediately decided this was the place w needed to spend our week long vacation. The amenities were amazing with a full gourmet kitchen, spacious bedrooms, amazing lighting and full surround sound entertainment system throughout the entire house. I had the most amazing 30th birthday ever spent at this mansion and will definitely be back. Jose, Manny and Willie are excellent hosts and were always available for any question we had and items we needed addressed.

Family Trip

Our group of 5 couplets booked this property. We were clear that it would be 10 people staying in the property. We were promised 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The house was actually set up for 4 bedrooms and an office. The office has a large desk and NOT a bed. We contacted the "property manager" and he in turn contacted the owner. The owner was unpleasant and only offered us a queen size air mattress to place in the office. The rest of the interior of the property was as promised. The pool was beautiful as well as the immediate area surrounding it. The fountain in the backyard could use some TLC.

we have 5 rooms with en suite bathroom, one happens to be also an office , and we have a queen top of the line off the floor queen bed , I agree the other rooms are a little more plush than this , and since I was living full time in Costa Rica at the time , and been the only owner of the House am sorry for any misrepresentation my Help my have done to you , and my fountain bigger than my pool had a leak at the time but its been fixed and works great , thanks for the observation , Willie

Unpleasant experience

We have been renting from Home Away for over 10 years. This time we had some issues. First of all it was advertised as 5 bedrooms, but only 4 were available, the owners locked the 5th bedroom. Second, the owner were coming in and out the house as she wishes. They also have all their closes in the closet and all their stuff everywhere with sign "don't touch", which was a challenge when you have kids. They also had surveilance camera inside the house until we ask them to remove it. The manager lives in premises. Other than these issues, the house is beautiful with astonishing backyard. I hope you advertise accurately in the future.

Sorry we did not meet your expectation , yes we have a Gran Piano , a personal office and electric storm shutters in every window that should not be played with , we really care about our elite property and take excellent care of it after all it’s my home and when in town that is where I live , we have strict policy of 8 person max , since in the past we had experiences of guest renting the house for 8 to 10 , I allowed and before we knew we had 16 to 18 people at house , it’s a huge house but the wear and tear it’s too much so I decided no more than 8 guest at any given time , strick policy from now on , I advertise light cleaning included , kitchen , BBQ family area , bird area maintenance , but we always call the guest and find out what time they want our maids there , also if more cleaning is needed like sheets change or towel change we will be happy to do it at no charge , security cameras don’t record and they are at common BBQ area for your protection , but we can disconnect at any time if requested , Thank You

Fantasy vacation

This whole property, which is located in a beautiful area of Fort Lauderdale with many horse farms and a beautiful park nearby, was absolutely perfect. From its location (just off 595, so we didn’t ever have to pay tolls), to the property itself made this a wonderful experience for all of us. There is a grocery store and Walmart within a mile of the property, and it was so easy to get to anywhere. We had to go to the Convention Center every morning, and it was only about a 25 minute easy drive and 15 min to the airport. The property itself is stunning. It is so spacious that I feel like even after a week I didn’t get to enjoy it all! The pool is so large and inviting, the lush landscaping so well taken care of...the pictures just don’t do it justice. To look out in the mornings and see the beautiful winding waterway and the bridge...it was priceless. I have just gone this spring to Giverney in France, and this backyard area reminded me so much of Monet’s gardens where he did his best work. I could have spent days just looking at all the trees and the reflections in the water. The house is just as amazing as the landscaping. Super high ceilings, long hallways, beautiful decorations...it truly is like living for a week in a fantasy house. It was super clean and felt very lush. This house had everything...we never felt like we couldn’t find anything because it was so well organized. It’s obviously a home that people can come to and enjoy time with friends or just relax with their family. We loved the safe feeling we had here and didn’t feel uncomfortable at all at night. Very peaceful and very quiet. We stayed here with another family, so we had a large group....10 in all plus a baby. It worked fine because my 12 year old son loved having the bar room to himself. Everyone else had places to stay and the overseer even let us borrow a super nice air mattress. We were all perfectly comfortable, even with my friend just having had a baby 2 months ago! Never heard a peep out of him in this huge quiet house! I can’t thank Guierrmo enough for sharing this home with us. We will never forget our vacation here. The sign on the outside shower said it best...”Just another day in Paradise!” And it was sooo right.

Great vacation property

My self and 4 friends spent 4 days at this location while on a golfing trip. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were welcomed and taken care of by Manny when we arrived. The house is a perfect spot to just relax and enjoy yourself. The outdoor screened in patio was an awesome place to hang out and enjoy the weather. There is a grill built in to the patio area and with the large TV we had a great place to enjoy our evenings. The location is convenient and quiet and I would go again in a minute!

The most outstanding property ever!!!

We had our wedding on April 4th in this marvelous estate and have stayed for another 4 days there. No words can describe how beautiful and magic this place is! The grounds and the house are in perfect condition. Everything went so great. The grounds keeper Manny is a great person, has been so accommodating, carrying and just very nice. Thank you so much for letting us have our very special day in your beautiful estate!!!

Enjoyable first vacation home experience - left us at ease!!

We had 5 couples staying here for 4 days prior to going on a cruise. This is the first time any of us had rented a vacation home, so we were worried about many things prior to our trip. However, once we had arrived to the home, Manny greeted us and we were no longer worried. The pictures and everything that was described to us about the property during the communication matched with what we saw... Actually, it was even better than expected! The house is very big and nice. Lovely kitchen, bar, outdoor BBQ - this place had everything we needed! The garden was spectacular, very large and beautiful. The location is very quiet and safe, and easy to go everywhere. If we ever go back to Fort Lauderdale, we would definitely rent this place again. All 5 couples had a great time! Thank you Willie!!

Best Vacation rental experience by far

This is our fourth time renting a luxury home in South Florida for the holiday season and I don't write reviews normally, but I must say this was the best experience by far. We really enjoyed our stay. The maintenance man, Manny, was excellent, attentative and helpful. The owner was easy going and accomodating. The home itself was clean and beautiful, as another reviewer mentioned, you felt like royalty. The statues, the grand landscape, and the intricacy and details of the estate made it exquisite. The home is located in Southwest Ranches, amongst plenty of other great homes. The area is quiet, and secluded, which we loved. But close to highways and major shopping, 20 mins from the FLL airport, 15 mins from Sawgrass Mills mall, mulitple pharmacies and grocery stores minutes away. It was large enought to accomodate my group of 8, as well as family and friends that we invited over for a get together/engagement party. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a place to get away and have a great time. I look forward to staying there again next year when the pool is done!

The house was beautiful from the time we entered thru the gate. The gourmet kitchen and the outdoor space was great. The rooms were large and comfortable! The surround sound system was outstanding! The outdoor gardens were breathtaking when lit up at night, thanks to Manny for providing us with that view! All of our issues were addressed which were very few by the GREAT Manny! Also, thank you Manny for the coconuts! Overall Great trip, I woud rent again for sure!

Amazing home needs care that's up to its standing

It showed the house had not been rented for a few weeks or months. Overall cleanliness was below what one would expect for such a luxury home. Especially the sunroom furniture and amenities. Dead batteries in many remote controls and smoke detector. Absolutely no condiments or anything else of that nature in the kitchen (we were'nt expecting food but at least coffee filters or garbage bags or plastic wrap for leftovers would have been nice). Culinary equipment, pots and pans ok but not great. No toaster. One of the the 3 A/C units was not functioning properly, garburator broken as well. All were fixed within 2 days. Nice touch to have supplied toothpaste and razors and foam in all bathrooms, which were clean and in good working order. 1 bath towel per room. So, overall, small stuff which needed ajustments at first but overall, did not overshadow the amazing space, luxury and features of this great, great house. A real diamond in the rough.

my wedding weekend.

This house is amazing!!!!. The minute you drive up to the house you feel like royalty. From the private entrance ( yes you need a code) to the grounds keeper constantly patrolling the massive grounds you feel safe. The interior of the house is fabulously decorated with a spacious inside entertaining area for grilling or for outside dining.The rooms are beautifully furnished with matching bathrooms. Outside has a little pond in the backyard along with a miniature forest of plants and trees. I would definitely rent this estate again (it is more than just a house). On a scale from 1 to 10 I would give this a 10.

Thank You , you are not far from what happen in the House Casa Mansion over the last 2 years and that is the reason I have few reviews unlike my other properties VRBO 338836 and VRBO 376293, A Relative from the Royal Saudi Family came to stay for a month, his family was so happy with the privacy that they decide to stay for 6 month then a year and finally 2 years before they parted, they spoke Arabic the kids play around and had a great stay, been so private people they never gave me a review, and finally now you were the first to stay and give me a review, Thanks Willie
