Quiet peaceful cottage

We felt very comfortable in this sweet little cottage in the woods. It’s only a short distance off Hwy 1, but far enough for no traffic noise. The location makes it easy to travel to any of the beautiful peninsulas. The cottage was very clean and well maintained, and we felt like we found a treasure renting here. Also, Amanda (the Host) is so easy to work with - any questions we had were answered promptly and she has a wonderful personality. We weathered the storm one day and night as hurricane Lee passed by the area, and Amanda checked with us to make sure things were okay for us. You will be very happy in this lovely home.

Quiet front porch

We loved sitting on the porch in the peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of all the tourists towns. The house had everything you need. The only suggestions I have is that it could use a new turner/ spatula to cook with as that one is worn out and the Teflon is coming off while cooking your food and also needs to have a broom/dustpan available. We would definitely stay here again.

Just lovely

*Mindful there is NO AC. We were there Aug 11 to 14th and never even neeeded AC. Smalls fans and all the windows open were just enough! Felt more "rustic"/ camping-like. Quiet, peaceful, kind-of secluded but dark enough to feel private, away from the roads too. Sound of the high breeze through the birches was so relaxing. House was decorated very simply and pleasantly. Everything was fully stocked for the bath, bedrooms, kitchen, amd laundry room. Owners and property manager were very helpful and responsive as well. We will definitely stay here again when in the area!! Thank you for a wonderful weekend!!!
