We’re Chloe & Tyler, married high school sweethearts who live in Philadelphia but spend as much time as possible in Maine. We love hiking, our cats, traveling new places.

Why they chose this property

We got our engagement pictures taken in Acadia. This was not the original plan, but life happens and we rolled with it - our change in plans led to way more than just the memories made during the week we stayed that fall.

Acadia is such a special place that when we left we kept thinking about it. We tossed around the idea of trying to rent a place for a month over the summer in the following year. Little did we know that the best was yet to come and we’d have our own little slice of heaven.

We’re so excited to have Downeast Hideaway to continue making our own memories, but are also really looking forward to hosting other folks so they can discover the magic that is Downeast Maine and Acadia.

What makes this property unique

Our home is cozy and truly feels like a home, not just a rental. It’s nestled in nature away from neighbors and has public ocean access a few miles up the road.
