We had a great first time in Waves, NC at this property. The hosts were very accommodating and quick to communicate. The home was in great shape and has plenty of space to entertain 3 families with kids!

The house and the neighborhood had just the vibe I was looking for. There were a couple of stores within walking distance, but the area was not overly developed. The boardwalk and stairs over the dunes made getting to the beach easy.

House is beautifull, well apportuined, and in great location. While we had large group we never felt crowded. Hosts are great communicators, very quick to respond and support. Only negatives stovetop & oven a little tempermental and small subset of mattresses not in optimal shape

Clean, great house, spacious and fun. Hot tub was great! Waking up to see the ocean (over the dunes) was great. Check in and check out was exceptionally easy and it’s clear that the hosts care about their guest experience.GREAT beach access proximity!

Beautiful house in the perfect location

My extended family and I had a wonderful time at The Sandpiper. Even off season, you simply can’t beat just being steps from the beach. The heated pool and hot tub allowed us to enjoy the water, even though the weather was a little cooler. We would definitely stay here again!

This was the perfect place for my daughter’s birthday weekend! The home was great, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. Josh was super helpful and quick to get a hold of! Would highly recommend and stay again!

Delightful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Sandpiper in March 2025. The house layout suited our group really well (three kids, five adults) and had everything we needed. It was the off season so the neighborhood was sleepy, but we enjoyed the quiet and unspoiled sunrises, sunsets, and beach and (heated) pool time in between.

A wonderful stay

A fantastic location with easy access to the beach. The layout of the house is perfect for families; it was very clean and well equipped. We loved having the pool; it was super clean and sheltered. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Would return!

We were traveling for our husbands 40th and the house was everything we were hoping for and more. Unfortunately hurricane Erin forced us to evacuate, but Josh was SUPER communicative and helpful through out the whole process and more! There responsiveness was top notch and we will definitely be back and staying at their properties again!

Family Celebration

Great location on OBX for a week long family celebration! Convenient to many OBX activities the length of the island, as well as good restaurants within a short drive (Buxton's Orange Blossom Bakery is a must!). The Sandpiper fulfilled our needs with lots of space, both inside and out, an equipped kitchen, pool and hot tub and doggo friendly. Thanks again Josh and Kimberly.

Great location!We (2 families: 4 adults, 5 kids) enjoyed a wonderful week at The Sandpiper in July 2025. The location is great and has direct beach access. The house fitted our needs perfectly (accurate listing) and was the perfect homebase for exploring the region and relaxing afterwards in the pool and the hot tub. Furthermore, we enjoyed the nearby HOA facilities (tennis court & pool). Communication with the owners was very essy. Overall we had a great time!
