About the host

Hosted by Sylvia & Jim

We love hosting, and also using the house as a vacation getaway. My Grandson loves coming to the playground on the beach, he loves the tennis courts. At night we sit on the porch around the fire pit. It is such a relaxing thing to do after biking in Jim Thorpe all day, a family favorite. If you like fishing or hiking this is the place to be, fall has many festivals and of course skiing in the winter is a big favorite. I love the Poconos as there is something to do all year round. I hope you will enjoy it too. I love telling my guests about the horseback riding as well as the white water rafting.

I choose this neighborhood as it is quiet, we have our own security guys who make sure our community is safe and secure.

What makes this property unique

Our house is cozy in the cold winter nights, and it comes alive with BBQs on the large front deck in the summer. When Nascar is at the Pocono raceway you can hear the roar of the cars from the back deck.
