Hello, As I said I apologized at each stage of the process. But unfortunately because it was a holiday weekend, I could not get a Lock Smith out until the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The lock was jammed or froze and it was a horrible experience in my opinion to not be able to rectify the problem at that time. Since that time the lock is restored and there really was not anything that could be done to fix the problem without the Lock Smith. I again am very sorry that this happened to you and your family. It was the last thing that I ever wanted especially because I felt I was honoring my late husband to extend your stay that holiday weekend. I told you that he died suddenly 1 week before Thanksgiving and I felt he would have wanted a family to use Our Lake Chalet. It was an unfortunate experience for me as well because I wanted you to Enjoy your Stay!!! What is so very strange is that the cleaner was there 2 days prior without issue... Hello I wish we had spoke the Sunday morning when I said that of course my husband could explain the directions to you for the pellet fireplace stove but it is not accurate that it is the main heat source. I still wonder whether you had the heat on upstairs in the bathroom because without that thermostat on as I stated you are not receiving the full strength of the electric heat that the Poconos all of Jack Frost and big boulder and many of the communities have electric Zoned Heat. I have to say that because you had concerns about the heat we actually had someone come out to service the Heat and none of the units were found to be not working but I am sorry that you were not satisfied fully with the amount of heat. The pellet stove really just adds and as I explained, the unit is on the lake so you have no insulation with trees and things of that nature so when it's cold, it comes through for sure and the pellet stove adds to the heating system in the home that is working properly. And again because of your concern, I actually addressed that and had a heat service come out and everything checked out so I'm not quite sure whether the bathroom thermostat was turned up in the upstairs. But of course the bedrooms and bathrooms hallway and upstairs were all heated. The entire Chalet is electric Zoned heating! Thank you for your time and I don't know if you noticed but I did provide a $75 credit simply because you did have difficulty with the pellet stove fireplace! Thank you Megan Ernie
