We had an amazing time at our this beautiful sound front home. The kids had a great time catching fish off the dock and playing pool on the pool table. The house was spotless.
What a lovely and beautifully appointed home! The kitchen has every appliance imaginable and everything anyone could possibly need! Everything was comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the many birds and stunning, ever changing sunsets. The view really is sound front and wonderful at any time of day! It is located close to Ramp 49 for going off-road. The neighbors are welcoming and shared good advice for the possible effects of Hurricane Lee. There was a wedding next door!
We have been coming to the Outer Banks since 1984 and Hatteras Island since 1987. We have stayed at little motels and ocean front McMansions and everywhere in between. My husband is a carpenter by trade and was a general contractor for many years. He has critiqued every house where we have stayed for its building faults and had only compliments for Lassiter Lane. We had a wonderful week!
This house was situated on the sound side in a peaceful neighborhood and offered a dock for the granddaughter to crab from. Myself and my son in law fished and kayaked. When we weren’t exploring the island or enjoying the beach, we played some competitive pool. The house was clean and well stocked. 10/10 in my book!
