On Golden Pond

Our stay was great. Perfect location, very quiet. We loved the patio. The house was very clean. If you are looking for a swimming place, we would recommend Whipple Beach which is very close by. A very good Kayaking pond, but not for swimming. Communication with the owner was great. They only thing we would recommend is getting a bigger gas grill, too small for our family of 8.

Quiet lakefront property to share with family

We took our son, his wife and 4 teens seeking a house on a lake. The bedrooms were more than adequate for these teens to have privacy to spread out. The lake was small and quiet, a perfect setting to relax. It’s located in Baxter, and just a few miles from huge Gull Lake with fishing and boating fun.

Property management was great and easy to work with. A few things that they cannot control is water conditions. You cant really swim in lake or fish in lake when we were there ..and pics made it seemMore of a sandy beach but given amount of seaweed, kids couldn't get in and swim. Kayaking was great but you have to go very far from shore to even swim or attempt fishing. Other than that part everything else was great and home was clean and extra additions too.

Excellent property for an up north get-away with my kids and their families. House was perfectly equipped for my young grandchildren and roomy enough for all of us. Great family get away!

The property was just as described. Very well stocked and the wine and snacks were a great welcome gift. The owner was extremely responsive even having a baby gate delivered when we couldn’t find the resident one. We had 6 adults and 5 kids (2 under 2) and it met our needs perfectly. There were 2 pack n plays and a high chair. The best part was being able to bring our dog. The kids had their first kayaking experience and there were nice parks and a beautiful beach a short distance away. Nice to have an extra folding table and chairs so we could all sit together. Thank you!

Relaxing Family Getaway

Communication was great! The house was very spacious and stocked with so many helpful things (including some snacks and wine which was a sweet touch)! The huge couch was fun for our whole family to hang out. We had a couple of movie nights! There was an extra folding table and chairs in one of the bedroom closets that we used for a puzzling table. The two bathrooms were super nice to have as well as the washer/dryer, A/C, and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Outside, we used the kayaks provided to paddle around on Mile Lake and had two campfires with firewood provided. Parking was plentiful and the driveway fit our four vehicles and 2 fishing boats. Overall, our stay was super comfortable and very positive!

Lovely Haven Between Two Lakes

Our group of eight found a comfortable and peaceful haven here. A couple of members rose early and fished for a bit before others were even awake. Others enjoyed hanging out or taking walks. There were plenty of games, both indoor and outdoor. The host provided welcome snacks and a bottle of wine. When we needed anything, our host was quick to respond. We highly recommend this lovely home!

Family-Friendly Stay!

This home fit our large group of 14 very well. The bedrooms were all large and comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the spacious living room with the lake view and the back patio, and we took the short drive into Baxter several times! The only complaint is that there were not nearly enough chairs for our group, making meal times more complicated. But other that that we had a very pleasant experience!
