Come staycay at our home located right around the block from both Mirada and Epperson Metro Lagoons, rent a golf cart and ride around for blocks visiting the lagoons, fishing at the ponds, playing in all of the parks, watch the sunset at King’s Lake pier, or just chill at the house with the family! Take a day trip to the beach only 30 miles away or go shopping at Tampa Outlets, The Grove, or The Shops at Wiregrass all within 10 miles. Hang out in the evening at the Krates for live music and food. Come and STAYCAY!

"Stayawaycation"

Every year my brothers and our sons (10 of us) travel to a destination in Fl for a golf weekend. This home was close to two beautiful courses at "Lake Jovita", since Lake Jovita doesn't accommodate 10 under the same roof we decided to VRBO a house that would, or at least the listing said it would. Very little communication between the host and guest , that is until the date we were to check in. The day of check in we got a very condescending message to the tune of: "dont break the HOA rules or you will be removed with no refund , there are security cameras throughout the home, if rules arent followed, you will be removed with no refund , they say and I quote , parking is limited , and do not park on the street, by the way we have a car in the driveway strictly for security purposes". (the car is an old broken down BMW with a flat taking up space in the driveway). The host acts very strange , and on the defensive. I messaged him/her about towels and soap and so forth , you know, essentials for a stay at a VRBO they say "soap and towels are there, if they are not there , we will charge you $100 , because VRBO says we can do this". I was taken back by this, the fifty or so VRBO's that my family has rented always had soap, towels , shampoo, and essentials for a stay. Additionally , the host waits until the date of check in to let us know "home is very kid friendly , that is why the tv is broken with lines on the bottom and off to the side".(ran out of writing space)

Spacious and quiet

They mean it when they say very kid and pet friendly. The owner's leave a can of gourmet dog food in case you forget it. They also have cute little toys that are a huge hit. We had a crying episode about leaving a mac n cheese toy behind. This is a nice neighborhood and nice home so, there's rules. Nothing outside of what I would expect if it were my rental property. Don't be loud and don't do damage. We had a bunch of kids and although we reminded them about the noise level, kids will be kids on vacation. There were a few bursts of noise, but we had no issue because we respectfully got it under control and it wasn't late at night. I somehow didn't book the dog and we had a few travelers get sick which resulted in last minute changes to pet/adult/kids. The owner understood the situation and allowed me to make changes which of course, resulted in additional charges because I was upgrading on my original ask. Oh, if you like to cook, this place is stocked with all the right pots and pans. I do recommend bringing paper plates, plastic ware and cups. It just makes it easier.
