This camper is great for a couple or family with kids. There is a queen bed, double bunkbeds (200lb weight capacity per bunk), a jack-knife small double sofa-bed, and the dinette folds down to a small double bed if needed for additional small people.
Kenora Bed 'n' Bale is a seasonal campground, with a country twist. Our fenced & gated urban homestead is right in Kenora, only a mile from downtown. You won't believe you are still in town.
We have horses, small animals and poultry, and can accommodate guests' horses. Guests are invited to visit our farm animals, and our dogs and cats have the run of the place and WILL visit you, so we are a perfect spot for animal lovers.
Guests must have the ability to climb 4 steps into the camper.
Site 8 Crossroads includes access to the full camper, propane BBQ, outside picnic table, parking for 1 passenger vehicle.
Shared access to farmyard for visits with the farm animals and horses; group fire pit area and free firewood; free use of kayaks, paddle boards, canoe; campground library of books, games & puzzles; paid laundry facilities.

Our vacation rentals, seasonal camper sites and small farm right are in the heart of Kenora. You will drive through a residential neighbourhood, then enter our woodsy acreage.
We are a mile to all amenities, but have all the perks of country living. Plus, quiet Rabbit Lake is only a 3 minute hike, for a quick dip. Or, take a 20 minute hike through public Boreal Forest to get to Garrow Beach, with pickleball courts, rowing club and a large beach and docks.
One block to city bus stop. We are an urban farm only one mile from downtown Kenora, so food deliveries are available, unlike more distant campgrounds.
Please read the FULL AD, including amenities and rules. Before booking, guests are required to read, understand and agree to our full ad and the Guest Guide - link will be sent after you send your booking inquiry. It is very thorough, and should answer any questions you might have. If not, we will be happy to provide more information.
Kenora is a popular spot - Winnipeg's cottage country. Compare our prices to other vacation destinations in the area, and you will see we are competitive, especially since firewood, kayaks, paddleboards, canoe, farm visits are INCLUDED. Those extras could add up to $100 to 200 a day or more, a la carte.
Up to two pets are allowed - $40 fee per stay - but MUST be friendly, kept quiet, controlled and away from farm & horse areas for insurance and safety reasons. Absolutely no aggressive, reactive or fearful animals allowed.
Guests need the ability to climb 4 steps to enter the camper. The bunk beds are small, suitable for kids or smaller adults, and have a weight limit of 200lb.
If you require a unit that is more accessible, or can accommodate a higher weight limit, check out Site 16 Logger Bunkie.
Site 8 Crossroads Camper is right between two of our other units - Site 9 Montana Camper and Site 7 Winnebago Camper - making an ideal area for group camping.
Thank you for your inquiry, and we look forward to hosting you!

Relaxing Getaway
My husband and I spent 5 days enjoying this little gem of a glamping resort. We rented #8 Camper which was clean and comfortable. It was stocked well with kitchen items and had a great BBQ which we used almost every night. We enjoyed seeing the animals, hiking/geocaching in the area and a highlight for me was paddle boarding for the first time! Rabbit Lake, just down the path is lovely, quiet and clear. Thank you Laura for your hospitality!

Friendly, helpful owners. Quiet place. Nice area to explore. Intersting to wake up to call of a peacock in the north woods!
