We enjoyed this beautiful property that allowed us to relax in the countryside while being only 20 minutes from Quebec City. Instructions for entry were seamless and all amenities listed were exactly as advertised.
Lobed the property. Much bigger than the pictures show! The beds were comfortable the rooms spacious and the bathrooms clean and relaxing! The hot tub had the nicest view and its clise to the city. Finding the elevator and unit could be better markedb but once you find it it was easy to get back too! Totally worth the money and would definitely stay again! get too!
The property is really quite lovely, with a modern, open concept, fully equipped kitchen, large dining table and plenty of comfortable seating in the living room. It’s located in a very nice area on Ile d’Orleans, with quick access to the bridge leading to Quebec City. It does, however, have a couple of drawbacks. First of all, access to the unit is extremely indirect. You enter through the middle doors of this long narrow complex, then turn right and navigate down two long hallways (including through two fire doors), then turn left down a short hallway and through another fire door, where you take the elevator to the “last” floor (i.e., the 4th floor), where you proceed through the fire doors on the right, and walk down a long hallway and through yet another fire door. The unit is at the far end of this last hallway. If you’re travelling light, it’s no big deal, but if you’ve got a lot of luggage and groceries for a week’s stay, it’s an incredible slog maneuvering multiple bags through so many heavy fire doors. Another issue is the lack of blinds on the west facing patio door, meaning it gets uncomfortably warm in the living in the afternoon on sunny days. The A/C unit really only cools the living room/kitchen area, which is why they have provided large moveable fans to provide some relief for the bedrooms. None of the bedrooms have anywhere to put a suitcase so you can unpack without settling it on the floor - no stands or drawers.
