Located in a 24/7 guarded entrance community, Shagbark Resort offers a pool (Memorial Day - Labor Day), pickle ball, basketball, tennis, corn hole, pavilion, and frisbee golf. There is also a walking trail, a small playground, and a creek to check out. All this is available to our guests during your stay within a 5-7 minute drive from the cabin.

Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville are the three main cities that comprise the area. Everything is spread out a bit and there are amazing things to keep you busy.

- Amazing dinner shows to entertain kids of all ages
- Museums of all types: classic cars, Alcatraz, Titanic, and several children's museums

Guest Access:
The private cabin including a hot tub is fully accessible for guests. There is a kitchen cabinet and a closet that is not accessible to guests. Free parking is available in the driveway.

The community pool, pickleball, basketball, tennis, etc are included for guests as well.

The Neighborhood:
Located in a 24/7 guarded entrance community, Shagbark Resort offers pickleball, basketball, tennis, corn hole, a pavilion, disc golf, and a pool (Memorial Day - Labor Day). There is also a walking trail, a small playground, and a creek to check out. Shagbark Resort is just a few minutes from Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Please have your driver's license and car pass (provided once booked) ready to check in at the guard gate.

Getting Around:
This cabin is in the Smoky Mountains and the roads are paved except for a small gravel portion on the top. As there are a few very steep road areas, please use caution and avoid motorcycles and trailers. We encourage guests to arrive before dark. The roads are maintained in winter by the resort, however, there can be snow/ice, therefore, 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended in the winter months.

Cabin parking spaces include 2 large vehicles OR 3 smaller/medium vehicles. Your booking includes car passes for 2 vehicles. If a 3rd car pass is needed, there is a small fee.

Other Things to Note:
Easy check-in and check-out. Our outstanding cleaners take care of everything so you can skip the pre-departure cleanup and make the most of your cabin stay. No washing towels or stripping beds. We kindly ask you to run the dishwasher.

The cabin is thoroughly cleaned, including the hot tub, which is fully drained and disinfected between each guest check-out/check-in.

There are 4 twin beds + 1 twin convertible chair in the loft. If you choose to use both twin trundle beds, you may need to slide/wheel one to the end of the bed.

No pets.

You may encounter bears which are wild and dangerous. Please do not approach them or feed them. Please do not leave car doors open or unlocked even to run into the cabin briefly.
