The perfect home base for adventurers looking for a peaceful retreat. You’ll have full use of this entire home in a side by side duplex. Guests have use of the garage for laundry and large back yard and outdoor seating. Thoughtfully decorated with all the amenities of home, you’ll be sure to have a comfortable stay in this cozy home.

The space:
There are no shared interior spaces with the adjacent unit. You will have full private access to the home which includes the following:
Main floor- living room, fully equipped kitchen, half bath
2nd floor- 2 bedrooms (1 king bed & 1 queen bed), full bath
Garage- washer & dryer and extra luggage storage space

There are 3 steps to the front door and about 12-15 interior carpeted steps from the main floor to the second floor.

I work for the Anchorage Fire Dept. and love the outdoors. I enjoy playing hockey, skiing, fishing and hiking. I enjoying hosting locals and visitors to Alaska in my duplex units.

Why they chose this property

I lived in this neighborhood for several years before making it a vacation rental. It is the perfect location for getting around Anchorage and surrounding sites. This home is located in the Turnagain Neighborhood of Anchorage which is popularly known for its artistic vibe and top rated, locally owned restaurants. The Rustic Goat is just down the street to this home and a must stop. You'll notice a mix of older and newer homes on our street since Turnagain is one of the older neighborhoods in the city, but it is family friendly and very safe.
