Melt away your troubles with a relaxing, chilled glass of ouzo in the tranquil front yard of this stunning house located 300 meters from the sea. The sound of cicada mix with the gentle breeze rolling off of the nearby Cretan Sea as you lay back and soak in the last of the warm sunny day.
Later, take an invigorating shower in the newly refurbished bathroom, decorated with tiling reminiscent of the colours of the house’s natural surroundings.
Brand new kitchen and laundry facilities help to make nights in no bother and all new furnishings allow you to put your feet up in utter comfort after a long day exploring Chania.
Surrounded by lush greenery and wild natural beauty, villages nearby to the property keep intact their traditional character. Kolimbari, a seaside village located 24 km west of Chania town hosts a plentitude of fish tavernas along the beach and is a quiet resort ideal for families.
Platanias on the other hand is a small but busy resort which forms part of the main cluster of beach resorts west of Chania. Plenty of excellent restaurants and activities are on offer here, but it’s the nightlife that is the biggest draw. The area around Plaza Platania has a village square feel and roads wind up a small hill to Platanias Old Village where restaurants with excellent sunset views are to be found.
I have lived in Chania my whole life and will be thrilled to share some local tips to make your stay unforgettable. Ask me anything!
