The property was a great stay for the Christmas holiday with family. The host did an amazing job communicating, and taking care of and meeting all of our needs.
The house is in a nice neighborhood and had toys for our grandchildren. The home is spacious and the kitchen equipped for our breakfasts. Hosts were responsive.
Overall good experience, great location, fair price, very accommodating! The outside needs some attention with trimming the grass around the house and on patio and cleaning rubbish out of the corner of the yard!
Overall, this house was perfect for our weekend stay. We were in town for a celebration of life event which was less than half mile from this house, so it was perfect for us. There was shopping and restaurants conveniently located nearby and house was in a great neighborhood. There was plenty of space for our group of 5 adults.
We had a few minor questions and things to ask the owner, and he was very responsive to our needs. Communication was good.
Enjoyed our stay at the property.

Great Potential
The space has the potential to be a lovely stay. Unfortunately at this time it is not the case. The back yard is not maintained, their are weeds everywhere and a large pile

This is a great house for a larger family that needs a place to stay. There was plenty of sleeping space and the beds are large. We had a couple of issues with the master bathroom sink not draining properly. The garage door doesn't work reliably to open and close. It can be done but it's definitely glitching and needs to be fixed. The landscaping needs attention. There are trees and bushes overgrowing the park walkway to get into the house. I felt like getting some loppers and going to townMost vrbos these days supply things like foil, Saran wrap, sandwich, baggies and food storage containers. The whole point of staying in a VRBO is that you cook some of your own meals, but this means that you do need storage containers which there were none. The cookware is an extremely bad shape, although there were adequate numbers of pieces. The Teflon coating is very badly scratched. However, on the good side, ease of access Spacious bedrooms, plenty of room for multiple family members make this a place we would definitely consider coming back to should the need arise in the future. We appreciated the fact that there was toilet paper and paper towels provided as well as laundry detergent and some spices
The house is large and spacious and with a little tlc could be great, but it's not there. The renovated kitchen is not well done nor does it appear complete. Hinges broken on cupboards, paint all over the fridge, floor and backsplash, no dishclothes or sponges to wash with, only 2 dish towels for drying. No measuring cups, one spatula, no whisks, no pepper. The fridge shelves are missing and/or broken. The patio table was missing glass top. The tv in basement needs an extension cord plugged in to a different wall as the outlets on the wall its on don't work.
Ants in the kitchen and all bathrooms. No mop or extra paper towels. Drawers were dirty and random tools and hardware in most of them. Carpets were dirty and had burn marks in livingroom. Bedroom windows left open upon arrival in a storm which resulted in soaked carpets and a stench. No games except for one cornhole set that appeared broken. Couldn't fit car in garage as they had old appliances in there.
Host responded to concerns by sending an extension cord and dropping off raid for ants.
Not worth even half of what we paid.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I appreciate your review and would like to offer some clarification on the points you raised.
While the kitchen is not brand new, it is in good condition. The paint you mentioned is not prominently visible, and the hinge you noted has since been repaired. The kitchen is equipped with basic essentials, as stated in the listing, and a sponge was provided for your stay. The patio table has been removed, and I apologize if this caused any inconvenience.
Regarding the extension cord in the basement, it was indeed taken by a previous guest, and I promptly provided a replacement. We treat the property with an ant perimeter before each guest's arrival, but sometimes additional measures are necessary, which is why I sent you the spray. The refrigerator shelves are in good condition, and we keep some random tools in one of the drawers for guests who may need them. These drawers are regularly cleaned.
The carpets, although dated, are professionally cleaned and not dirty. I apologize for the soaked carpet due to the storm. I had left the windows open to allow for fresh air circulation, but unfortunately, it rained unexpectedly.
In terms of entertainment, there is a chessboard and a box of party games available, in addition to the cornhole set, which was not broken. Lastly, the garage has since been cleaned.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced during your stay. Your feedback is valuable, and I am committed to making improvements based on your comments.

If cleanliness matters to you, keep looking!
First impressions were right. We opened the garage to a mess of old kitchen chairs, washer / dryer or dishwasher and an overall unpleasant appearance.
Then we walked inside…
PROS:
- Great location. Convenient to stores and our family’s home.
- Layout of home is nice for having multiple conversations.
CONS:
- Kitchen floor was dirty and sticky. (owner brought us cleaning supplies per my request.)
- Countertops / stove / microwave had stuck-on food
- Old coffee grounds were still in the coffee pot
- Utensils, dishes and glasses all had to be washed before use
- Mats in bathrooms were filthy - I put hand towels on the floor so I could get dressed.
- Carpets and rugs are unacceptably dirty
- Limited kitchen amenities (old cookie sheets and pans, a low stock of serving items and mismatched silverware. There was no aluminum foil, ziplocks or food storage containers. (2 used ziplocks were in a cabinet above a broken shelf.)
- refrigerator light and light above the stove were both burned out
- No dish towels (however, the owner brought 2 dish towels upon my request)
- No washcloths / 6 bath towels (for a 10 person home)
- Shower doesn’t get hot in master bath - faucet is stuck at luke warm.
- Light switch on master bedroom end table is broken. It has to be plugged in / unplugged.
SAFETY:
- No railing on stairs to the basement (dangerous)
- VERY slippery bathtubs (no non slip inserts)
- At least 3 of the dining room chairs are wobbly and unsafe.
