Betsy's By the Bays is located on the exclusive Key Allegro Island here in Rockport. This beautiful has three (3) bedrooms and two (2) and bathrooms upstairs and an additional (1) one bedroom, bathroom, full kitchen and dining room downstairs. With plenty of room to accommodate up to 11 friends and family! Enjoy dropping a line day or night off the 40-foot dock with an underwater light for an enhanced fishing experience. Also, it is the perfect location to watch the yearly July 4th fireworks!

Upon entering the home upstairs, you are greeted with the ever-popular Rockport Coastal decor throughout the home. Plenty of seating in the living area offering a spacious open concept living, dining room. Seating for (6) at the dining table. The galley style kitchen has more than enough counter and cabinet space for all your vacation necessities. It is also fully furnished with all kitchenware and appliances to make your stay even more relaxing.

The master bedroom is located upstairs and has a king bed. The master bathroom has a double vanity and a large counter with more than enough space for both. There is also a large walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms upstairs both have a queen bed and have a connected jack and jill style bathroom with a shower/tub combo. All bedrooms upstairs have a closet and dresser available to keep all your vacation attire put away in during your stay.

The downstairs is accessible through a separate entrance outside and has a full kitchen, dining and living room area as well as the laundry room. The downstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower. The fourth bedroom also has a queen-size bed. There is also a sofa bed in the downstairs living room for additional guests.

Betsy’s shortcomings

Couple of unacceptable issues; missing smoke detectors in bedrooms, patio door hard to slide open and closed on top floor, living room seating has at least four ripped seats and frail out of date fabric. Flooring needs to be mopped not just vacuumed. The good; beds comfortable, AC kept us cool, upper porch shaded most of the afternoon. Kitchen adequate but cabinets and drawers crammed full of too much extra flatware, utensils, glassware, mugs, and no measuring cups and insufficient measuring spoons.

Lots of space and everything you need.

We had a bunch of family stay together and had everything we needed. Two kitchens and plenty of bathrooms. We had a blast and lots of space for everyone. House had all the dishes, sheets, towels, and kitchen items we needed. We just brought food and fishing poles. We will stay again!
