We really enjoyed our stay. The studio has everything you might need and it’s close enough to Middleburg, Leesburg, Shenandoah, and surrounding areas to enjoy a fun-filled weekend.
My husband and I loved our cozy farm stay, getting away from the hustle and bustle of our area. We were so glad that we could bring our cat to this pet-friendly studio. We got to meet Pam, who is very nice and chat a bit about her farm which was really interesting to learn a bit more and other cool things they offer to the public. We were within 10 minutes drive to a few wineries and the downtown area with lots of great restaurant options. We enjoyed our weekend! The room was so cute and cozy, giving us ideas how we want to build and decorate our personal home in the future.
Love staying here, quiet and everything I need for an overnight stay with my little dogs. Their generator did great for cooling the apartment when there was a power outage in the area due to thunderstorms.
We had an excellent time and our dog loved the farm. The hosts are fantastic people and were very helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We location is nice just a few minutes drive from downtown Middleburg and in a beautiful area. We will definitely return.
The studio was good for the two of us and our dogs. It is very clean and comfortable s on a farm which we found appealing. Very convenient to restaurants (Middleburg) though a distance from dog-friendly wineries. I would definitely recommend it for a short stay.
We had a lovely weekend out of the city on the farm. It wasn’t far from Middleburg, but it was very quiet and pleasant. The place is a good size for a couple and the studio was well laid out. We loved seeing the sheep!
Very cozy upstairs studio. Nice amount of privacy because it is above the garage. Perfect for a couple. Not much of a choice if you want to cook (they do accurately represent that there is a kitchenette, not a kitchen).
Pam was an amazing host who made us feel at home right from the get-go. This cozy studio above the garage (separate building) on a working farm was quiet and comfortable, made all the moreso by the wonderful people who run it. We enjoyed being there on a farm tour weekend, with the added benefit of a farm stand on site! We look forward to enjoying the honey and produce that we brought back with us… and even moreso, to our next stay. Thanks again!!
Enjoyed my stay in middleburg this weekend. I’m in the area every week & it’s on a clearly marked road that’s easy to find. Directions & check in were easy to follow.
Only one observation/ comment…
It was terribly hot in the apartment when I arrived. Not sure if owner is on-site but one suggestion is to put AC on earlier in day, it’s a hit VA summer!
The apartment above the garage was done very nicely. There was a typo on the listing as I booked under the impression there was a hot tub, which sadly there was not. With this apartment being above the garage be weary you can hear the noises from down below (such as garage door and gym equipment). My partner was awoken by the gym equipment being used below around 8am which was unfortunate. We contacted Pamela and she was apologetic. Overall, the studio was lovely and cozy in a great location in regards to Middleburg. Pamela was a responsive host and tried her best to amend the situations that arose.
The property was exactly as described. Situated in a hidden, historic, and rural spot in Middleburg, the farm was just what was needed. Quiet and the perfect distance for us to visit my family in Purcellville. Host was responsive and hospitable. Very clean and a perfect cozy studio. We are looking forward to coming back when we visit family again.
Staying on a farm vs. a hotel was so nice. Room was perfect for 2 of us. Had everything we needed and loved how it was decorated- we felt right at home. Also loved the option to buy fresh eggs, produce, etc. Would have done so if our visit was longer. Very convenient location for going to Middleburgh.
