About this property

This 3 Bedroom Duplex is a great place to relax with the whole family. We are located near Lakewood Ranch on a unique street, 4 homes away from the Manatee River and Ray's Canoe Hideaway. Ray's offers canoe and kayak rentals, a picnic area, a boat launch, events, guided tours, camping, and fishing. Nearby you can find Fort Hamer Park, the Florida Railroad Museum, Lake Manatee State Park, Desoto Speedway, and Downtown Lakewood Ranch. Our home is child and pet friendly and close to everything. We recently remodeled for a nice modern, streamline look. We have very comfy beds and lifeproof floors for easy care. If you love the beaches, they are less than 30 minutes away. Disney world in 90 minutes, Bush Gardens less than an hour. Lakewood Ranch and tons of activities minutes away. Boating, boat ramps, a huge park called Fort Hamer Park, and a canoe launch are all just down the street. Bradenton Motorsports Park and Lake Manatee State park are both 15 minutes away. Home has a king bed in bedroom one, a double bed in bedroom two, and a double bed plus a a twin bed in bedroom three. We have an additional inflatable bed if needed. This home is not in an HOA, so do not expect picture perfect landscaping and matching yards. Home has a high chair and playpen for toddlers. We offer a grill and a table in the back yard for our guests.

Your host

We are a family that has been living in Florida most of our lives. My husband Thomas has been in Florida since 1968 and I, Susanna, have been living here since 1987. We have a large family of 10 children between 29 years old (our oldest) and 1 year old (our baby). We are Real Estate agents and investors and truly love our Florida homes. We strive to make our homes family and pet friendly and live nearby in case you need anything.

Why they chose this property

We love this neighborhood because it is full of families and children. It has no restrictions and no HOA, so we are able to serve our clients without having to worry about some silly association with rules and regulations. Best of all, this street has a boat dock and boat launch called Ray's Canoe Hideaway at the end of the street, with canoe rentals for those that love the water. Fort Hamer Park is 4 miles away, Lake Manatee State Park is less than 7 miles, Bradenton Motorsports Park is 9 miles. Lakewood Ranch and Main Street LWR are 12 miles, the closest beaches are about 20 miles. If you like Bush Gardens, it is a one hour drive and Disney is about 90 minutes.
