What a lovely house to return to after a day of spectating at Burlington sports fields. Close to tournament and lovely home nestled into quiet dead end street with beach town vibes.
Amazing and beautiful home with gorgeous view, wonderful neighbors and neighborhood, relaxing, and serene. Great communication, accommodating, and very friendly owner. Highly recommend!

We’re so happy you enjoyed the home, views, and neighborhood—it truly is a special spot! Thank you for your kind words about communication and hospitality. You and your group were a joy to host—fun, full of life, and you enjoyed the home exactly as it was meant to be. Guests like you make hosting a pleasure, and we’d love to welcome you back anytime!
Great place to get away from it all while being close to everything. Exceeded all expectations for our group of eight which included a 9 and 11 year old. The house is amazing and even better than the pictures. It’s in a great little enclave of beach bungalows with easy access to what seems like miles of walkable beach. We definitely look forward to our next visit!
Modern beach home set within a small Camano Island beach community (the kind where you drive really slow, everyone waves at each other, and kids can safely cross the street on their way to the beach).
Beds were very comfortable. We had big dinners and barbequed salmon. Took day trips to La Conner area.
Wonderful stay! Beautiful location, beautiful home, enjoyed just being able to hang out. What makes it stand out for us is all the little touches in the home. The coffee, grinder, full kitchen with the extra spices, it was all set up so nice and was very clean. If we head back this way we will definitely be back.
The house is beautiful, and in a nice quiet area. The middle floor is well laid out with plenty of room to gather together to visit and share memories. The reason I only provided 3 stars is because the experience I had after. I was told that I was being charged for extra cleaning, and damage to kitchenware. Reportedly,Wash cloths to remove makeup, white sheets that got makeup on them, floors that had food debris, the landing area having pine needles, and finger prints on the windows. The kitchen ware showed a photo of a cookie sheet with stain on it, and the coffee maker with coffee spills on the bottom.Parking is very difficult for more than 3 cars. The back doors do not have screens on them, so if you have small children do not open the sliding windows to the left. One of them didn't have a screen in it, and it's unsafe for children to crawl around. I feel the owner should provide more information regarding house rules. Don't use cookware without adding foil first.Don't use white wash clothes to remove makeupSweep the floor, and wipe down counter tops. I am not sure if I was the only one with this experience, but I wish I had a better understanding before renting.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback and for your kind comments about the home and layout. We’re glad you enjoyed the space and the quiet setting.
We do want to clarify the reason for the additional charges, as they were not related to normal checkout expectations. Our standard cleaning fee covers routine turnover between guests. In this case, the home required extraordinary cleaning, disposal, and replacement due to conditions well beyond normal use.
After checkout, the property was left with excessive garbage, food debris throughout the home, soiled and permanently stained linens and towels (including makeup and eyelashes adhered to furniture), cookware requiring deep scrubbing, and items returned to cabinets uncleaned. There was also significant debris tracked onto interior floors and an oder in one of the bathrooms. Photo and video documentation of the condition immediately after checkout was submitted through the platform to support these charges.
Regarding parking, occupancy, and house rules: the reservation was made for fewer guests than were present. Exterior cameras and neighbor reports confirmed multiple additional vehicles and parking on neighboring private property, which violates the house rules shared with guests. Our rules also include a maximum occupancy, shoes off indoors, no food in bedrooms. Some of the other issues were simply a lack of common courtesy including proper dishwashing before returning items to cabinets, and the use of provided black washcloths for makeup.
On the topic of child safety, we must note that this is a multi-level home. As with any elevated living space, children should never be left unattended near windows or doors, regardless of screens. This is a general safety expectation in any elevated home environment.
We take pride in maintaining a clean, well-cared-for property for all guests. When house rules are followed, we have excellent stays and reviews. Unfortunately, due to the extent of rule violations and the condition in which the home was left, we would not host this reservation again.
We appreciate the opportunity to clarify and wish you the best in your future travels.
We loved our stay at the Camano bayside abode!! The atmosphere was high end, immaculately clean, and with tons of amenities! Lesha was a very responsive host and we were never left waiting on anything we needed.
Some of our favorite amenities included:
- fully stocked kitchen (they even have an ice cream maker) and a Traeger smoker outside!
- fabulous patios with views and comfy furniture to enjoy it on.
- peloton gym: treadmill, rowing machine, and weights
The property is just a few steps away from the beach. Low tide offers a neat bay that you can walk across on the sandy mud. High tide offers super calm waters for ideal paddle boarding (bring your own).
We highly recommend bringing any sort of water/paddle/floating toy. The water warms up nicely when the tide was out during the day.
Del fox meats was a great local butcher to visit for some meats to grill/smoke.
Thanks again for an amazing stay!!!
Stunning, modern home near water (when tide is up)
This home is absolutely beautiful and immaculate. There was plenty of space for our family of five with great decks that look out to the bay over the top of another home. Sunsets and golden hour were so lovely in the Adirondack chairs and hammock. The attention to detail and amenities were top notch, such as google home devices, special kitchen appliances, helpful signage, extra towels, SUPs and a kayak, and a gym. The master bedroom is huge with a beautiful bathroom and very spacious bed (seemed bigger than a standard king). The second bedroom upstairs was perfect for kids with a bunkbed. However, the bunkbeds were full size so could easily work for adults too. I appreciated the third bedroom in the basement to have a bit of privacy from the rest of the group and access to the well-equipped gym.
The only downside is that the tide was out most of our stay, which meant only about an hour of beach time in the evening before heading in for dinner. The tide changes throughout the year, so I'm not sure when during the year the bay would be full more than it is empty. But unfortunately the draw for this property for us (aside from how beautiful and modern it is) was the beach, but we didn't have any water. Not something the property owner has control of, but my recommendation to guests is if you go planning for beach, just check the tide schedule.
Second time staying, always good thanks for having us
