Great find

Perfect for a solo traveller, loved staying in this gorgeous house. Useful to be able to park on a private drive and be walking distance of the seafront. Would stay again.

Lovely Room in a house with a lovely host

We had the chance to stay in Michelle's house recently. The room was exceptionally clean and cosy, with a comfortable bed, TV, large window, microwave and a little washbasin. Michelle is a fantastic host, always there when needed, always prepared to give hints and tips. Bathroom is right next door, very clean, with a beautiful shower. You can find shops and restaurants in walking distance and fantastic pubs you can reach after a short drive. Thank you for accomodating us.in this stormy and wet first week of the year.

Bexhill break

Lovely, quirky house and very welcoming host. Great location in a quiet area, close to all amenities. Off road parking was good. We chose this location due to its proximity to The DeLa Warr Pavilion, where we had booked a show. We would stay again

Originally from London I have now lived in East Sussex for 10 years. I love hosting and sharing the experience of living by the sea. I also have 2 house cats one you may never see and the other will be ready to greet you -I am sure! Important to note if you have Allergies.

Why they chose this property

I love being by the sea, there’s lots to do here with the pavilion putting on the events and old town Bexhill which are very close to me. Near by Hastings has a lot to offer with Artie and Bohemian types lots of restaurants bars and clubs, events and large music scene. Historical Battle with It’s cream teas and Castle. Or within easy reach walking on the seafront or by car and I am minutes away from Bexhill Railway station.

What makes this property unique

The house is 1907 I have been told it’s Arts and crafts. This period is important to the area historically. The room guest stay in has a Influence of William Morris wallpaper and prints with a up to date wet room next door dedicated to guests. The rest of the house is eclectic and relaxed with a influences of nature and some of the values the arts and crafts movement held whilst being some what modern and eclectic.
