It was another wonderful week at a lake in Northern Michigan! The cottage accommodated the 10 of us comfortably. Loved having 2 living rooms, 2 refrigerators & two large tables! Plenty of space to spread out. Used the corn hole game for tournaments, did lots of fishing, skiing tubing, bon fires, cards & games. The location on Mullett is perfect, as was the weather.

Amazing get away
we stayed here for a week last summer, and it was AMAZING! the house is so big, with plenty of room for everyone. We rented it and had different family members come and go throughout the week.
We brought our boat up and loved swimming and boating in Mullett lake. Perfect for our kids to tube because the lake is so big you rarely get a lot of boat traffic.
My uncle enjoyed kayak fishing in the morning and evening.
My mom loved cooking in the large kitchen with a big enough table for everyone to sit at.
the only negative was we were asked by the neighbors not to have campfires because of the smoke. but we were usually so tired by the end of the day we didn't even care
We definetly will be returning here soon!

Response from VrboOwner on 18 Mar 2020
We have a guest book for renters to sign. We have had great responses over the years. As far as we know, the smoke complaint from our neighbor was a one time happening. It seems the wind was blowing from the Northeast into their home. In fact that same neighbor has commented on the wonderful guests we have had. Nelliemae and her family have been repeat guests.
We had fun. Having a house worked well for our family.
The neighborhood is nice.
The beach is sandy and the lake is clear.

another nice vacation with family
Property is clean and spacious, nice sandy beach on west side of the lake. This is a family unit(in my opinion) and should not be considered for party goers. Heat was available as needed on two evenings in June. We have stayed here several times and it meets our needs --two grown daughters, 2 son-inlaws and two grand children as well as wife and myself. The unit is set up with basally two living rooms so as to separate kids from adults if needed. Kitchen its well equipped and room for 10 to sit and eat. Fishing is off and on in this lake but we did ok.

good for us
we have stayed here for a number of years and hope to continue health permitting. Owners kept in touch with us before and during our stay. Home is good for our group of ten. We do a lot of fishing and the extra refrigerator is nice incase we do catch fish. This year the weather was not nice which you have to expect almost any time while north. Lots of wind and rain this year but we did games, wine and got extra rest and sleep. The beach on this side of the lake is sandy and shallow for quite a distance.
