Wonderful stay!

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay for a few nights, and visit with our son and daughter-in-law who were in town from Texas for a friend’s wedding. We found the cottage to be the perfect place for a relaxing stay! The cottage was clean and stocked with the necessary supplies. The location was quiet and peaceful. We found a grocery store a few blocks away, that had a great deli selection. We took a few trips to the Yankee Springs Recreation Area (state park). The space both inside and in the yard of the cottage was perfect for hosting our son, daughter-in-law and some of her relatives who live locally. We enjoyed an incredibly peaceful night with a bonfire. (Highly recommend Russo’s for pizza!) We very much enjoyed our stay, and absolutely plan on returning in the future!

Bluedoor Cottage on Gun Lake

Spent 2 days/nights making wonderful memories at the Bluedoor Cottage. Check in process was a breeze. Kevin, the owner, replied immediately to any questions we had. Perfect property to relax or have a few friends up for the day. We will most definitely book again 💖

Peaceful Weekend Away

Our family really enjoyed this property on Gun Lake. The screened-in porch was the perfect spot for morning coffee with a view of the water. Our 18 and 20 year old college students enjoyed boating and tubing with friends and rented a double Kayak one afternoon for additional fun! Open floor plan was great and we loved having a full kitchen in addition to some great places for casual dining! Owner was very responsive to all of our questions.

With serene views, quiet location, this cottage was the perfect get away. Tastefully decorated and well equipped kitchen, too. We put our kayaks in right off the dock and paddled around for over an hour enjoying the day. The host is personable and responds quickly with any questions.
