The Neighborhood:
It's a quiet neighborhood, full of locals and tucked in between the intercoastal Santa Rosa Sound and the Gulf of Mexico. The beach is a 2 min walk following the boardwalk across the street. This property is attached to the Okaloosa Island Beach Access #1 Boardwalk that goes directly to the Gulf of Mexico's beautiful sugar-white warm sandy beach and the intercostal waterway near the Brooks Bridge. The Santa Rosa Sound is a minute or two on the opposite side, also connected to the boardwalk. Okaloosa Island is known for less crowded beaches and is about 10-15 min from Destin depending on traffic. This neighborhood is located near restaurants, bars, etc.

Getting Around:
When staying at Santa Rosa #10 on Okaloosa Island, the best way for future guests to get around is by car. Having a vehicle will provide convenient access to nearby attractions, restaurants, and shopping centers in the area. Additionally, there are also bike rental options available for guests who prefer to explore the island on two wheels.

Other Things to Note:
The space is not child proofed for any hazards (outlet covers, etc) Although we do allow children in the space we do want to be sure that you child proof the space to your liking as there maybe potential hazards like lack of outlet covers, chemicals under the sink etc.

Florida is known for it's tropical insects (Palmetto Bugs, Mosquitos, etc) We do schedule a pest service monthly, however, because this unit is a ground floor unit, you may see pests from time to time, keep the door closed to prevent these pests form entering the unit, as they can startle some people.
