You can’t beat the location. You can walk to everything downtown. Enjoyed sitting on the porch morning and evening! There is a washer and dryer that was a plus. Enjoyed our stay!
Excellent location. Smelled a bit musty on arrival but cleared out (it is an old house) Only one bath has a shower and the other bath sink has funky faucets that barely clear the sink so even difficult to wash your hands. The stairs to the house are bit difficult but you could pull around back to unload (no parking there). Otherwise, very clean, decorated lovely, limited kitchen but functional and comfortable bed. Front porch and location excellent! We had a great time ! Check in and out times are nice also.
This is the second time that my family and I have stayed at this cottage. It is absolutely adorable and to location is perfect. It is within walking distance to everything downtown, therefore it is not necessary to pay for the public parking. We will stay again next year.
This was a good place to stay. We couldn't have been more downtown than we were! I would for sure stay again! Easy check in. Parking is tricky but its available.
Great location for Downtown access. Stay parked at the front door and walk to shops and cafes. Wonderful old cottage with a designer feel. Fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Bring your own food and drink, as none is provided.
Dryer wasn’t working but overall great experience with superb host

Great Location
Great location to shopping and restaurants and no fighting for a parking place. Cottage was clean and sufficient for a weekend getaway. Resident cat greeted us and was there all weekend despite the cold. Who feeds the cat? We looked for food but couldn't find any. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again.
The property smelled of mold/mildew. It was overpowering and when I messaged the host about the issue, his response was to open all of the doors to air it out and stated that no one else had complained. The host initially responded to me and then ignored my messages. Two of the three screen doors did not latch, and the screens were broken out so bugs and critters could get in. None of the windows in the house were able to open. They were painted or nailed shut. We decided to stick it out the first night, but when it was time for bed we realized that there was noise coming from the walls and ceiling in the middle bedroom. There was an animal/animals that had made a home and made noise all night. In the morning, we left and found another place to stay. I requested a refund for the last three nights we were to stay and am still waiting for my money back. Do not let the pictures of this quaint cottage deceive you. This experience was terrible, and I would not recommend this cottage or host to anyone.
We loved our stay. It gets quite cold at night in the winter but once we figured out the AC we slept quite well. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen and bathrooms were fully stocked. The hot water doesn't last very long so we sped up the bath process by filling the jacuzzi tub with boiled water from the stove... not convenient but we didn't mind as it's just part of the experience. The TV required a Roku account but we thankfully had one already. Joe was very responsive and helped us find a phone we left behind. Thank you, Joe!
We absolutely loved the property! Myself, my husband, and two friends stayed from Friday through Monday am and the location could not have been more perfect! The beds were comfortable and the home had everything you could need. We loved walking to Central Hotel for dinner across the street, the cupcake shop down the street, the coffee shop, and all of the shopping. We really loved people watching on the porch in the mornings with coffee and in the evenings with wine. We have decided to make this a new Easter tradition and plan to book with Joe again for next Easter if available! The only suggestion we have is to add a shower in the other bathroom since it only has a bath, and to maybe leave some condiments such as sugar substitutes/stevia/and creamer etc. for coffee. We are in love with the cottage! Joe is the best at communication. We cannot wait to return!!
Rats are in walls, spiders too, bad shower hard to get in and rotten wood behind shower, very hard to park from back or front was washed out couldn't get to spot was awkward , light bulb in living room was broke in light , this house should get inspected because it would not pass
