A short drive to anywhere in Troy, including the University for games, graduations, etc., the cabin at That Little Farm provides everything up to six guests would need for a comfortable stay. Relax indoors and watch TV, games, or connect your devices to the free Wi-Fi. Enjoy a cup of complimentary coffee sitting in the sun room with views to wooded acreage where you may see deer, turkey, and other wildlife wander by. The Cabin is located on That Little Farm; guests have access to fishing, wooded hiking trails, and fire pit. Amenities shared with the venue visitors are located in the farmhouse just a few minutes walk from the cabin. and include a foosball, air hockey, ping pong, and pool table. This is a shared space and not private to the cabin.
Owners are on site at the farm to provide assistance and answer questions if needed. Ask about getting a farm tour for the kids while you're staying here!

Absolutely amazing weekend. Wish we would’ve stayed longer. Simple, clean, relaxing, and the little things like shampoo, conditioner, trash bags, etc provided. Kitchen has EVERYTHING. Literally. In the middle of the country, yet 15 min from a Publix. So thankful for this family sharing their amazing property with Troy sports families! What a retreat!

FANTASTIC Place

The perfect escape

This property was nothing but amazing. It was located close to Troy campus. The amenities were better than expected. Clean and had everything one could need. We visited for Troy color guard practice but I was at the cabin the whole time and it was the perfect mini vacation I needed. Hosts were super friendly, helpful and respected our privacy. I honestly can't say enough good things about this property. Family and pet friendly, teenager friendly and an adult dream come true. We will be back in 2 weeks and will stay here anytime we visit our daughter at Troy!

Amazing place close to the university

We loved this awesome cabin . We were able to accommodate our whole family and enjoy ourselves . We attended Homecoming and it was only 2 miles to campus !! Great place to rent !

When I first arrived one of the panes were broken in the front window. The website says it would have a grill but it didn't. Now everything else was amazing. Very private. Located on an secluded farm. Extra amenities. Very clean. Cabin had everything that I needed. I will definitely be back.

Birthday getaway

Our stay here was nothing short of amazing. The owners were so kind to go out of their way to help in assisting with my wife’s birthday celebration. They picked up fresh flowers and cupcakes ahead of time from a local bakery to ensure she was surprised as soon as we entered the cabin. The cabin itself was literally everything we were looking for. It was very clean, organized and anything we could possibly need was readily available. Beautiful scenery, access to hiking trails friendly farm animals and of course my favorite part of the whole property, the shooting range! This cabin was literally the best relaxation spot for my wife and I. Although small, the city of Troy provides just about everything you would need (in the rare case the cabin doesn’t already have it!) all within driving distance. If you ever find yourself wanting to just get away and relax, this is the perfect place for you! We are sure to return in the future! Thank you again for sharing your little piece of paradise with us!

Get away 2024

We had a terrible time finding the cabin. It would be great if there was some signs posted with directions as the GPS doesn’t bring you to the cabin. We rode around for over 2 hours ,we didn’t have a phone number to contact the owners only a email. We stoped at a couple of houses but they couldn’t help us. We finally found our way by the Grace of God.The cabin is beautiful clean and well stocked. I love the lay out . It rained almost the entire time we were there ,so I would have enjoyed a TV in the bedroom or blinds or curtains throughout the entire cabin for more privacy so we could have laid on the sofa bed .The grass was in need of cutting and there wasn’t a smoke alarm for safety.There was plenty of wood for the firer pit. I would love to come back in the future. I didn’t get chance to fish or play pool .

Alabama is our home even though we are transplants to Troy. We enjoy farming and watching the University of Alabama win football games. The pavilion at the farmhouse is used to host small events and we love being a part of special occasions. We respect the privacy of those in our cabin by communicating through messaging, but welcome the opportunity to meet in person whenever initiated by our guests. We are looking forward to extending our hospitality to visitors to our community.

Why they chose this property

We enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and privacy of the farm property. We were surprised to find this in a place minutes away from the shopping on HWY 231 and downtown Troy. The property even has fiber connectivity to the local Internet Service Provider. No satellite dish needed here!

What makes this property unique

The cabin at That Little Farm is uniquely positioned within Troy; rarely will you find a property offering utmost privacy and seclusion while simultaneously being less than 10 miles from shopping, restaurants and local destinations. Our farmhouse and pavilion are well equipped for games and outdoor activities and all of this is available to our cabin guests during their stay.
