We two enjoyed the large rooms and quiet space. Felt very safe in house and neighborhood. Liked the off street parking. Easy walk to the waterfront.

We found the property to be charming and appreciated all the historical information provided. It was a special occasion for us and our stay in The Haven will be part of our memory of the time together before Fariha became a U.S. citizen.
I think we may be entailed to a rebate on our damage deposit, but am not sure. If so, please post the reimbursement to our American Express card.
We visited Norfolk for a short work trip and rented this historic apartment instead. It was more spacious and beautiful than I thought from the pictures. Access was very easy and communication with Lisa was super accommodating. If you get a chance to stay, do! You won’t regret it. We already discussed staying there again in the Spring. Thank you for the easy and wonderful stay!
We were initially slightly wary of booking this properly due to the lack of reviews on VRBO, but I am so glad that we took the chance! If you enjoy historic properties, I highly recommend checking this one out. It's been renovated, but still has all of the charm you would expect from a historic home. The neighborhood is quiet, with cute cobblestone streets, and there is a view of the water from the bay window in the main bedroom. It's within easy walking distance of several restaurants and museums, and for those not minding a slightly further walk, the waterfront district is close by as well.
Lisa was easy to contact when needed, and responded very quickly whenever we reached out. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, and the towels were probably the softest we've ever used! We had a restful stay, and would certainly stay here again if in the area, and recommend it to anyone that would enjoy staying in a historic neighborhood.
It is spacious and comfortable. You need to be able to climb steps with your baggage but it is really nice once you are there,I would be pleased to return.
