Our home is located across from forever wild lands, is 20 minutes from Whiteface Mountain, 15 minutes from Wilmington Town Beach and 30 minutes from downtown Lake Placid. The Acres has an abundance of hiking and snowshoe trail heads throughout the development. Be sure to check out Lake Eaton to fish, kayak, or ice skate! ADK_Chalet is close enough to all major conveniences, but far enough away to have your own piece of paradise!

A Cozy Chalet

We had the most wonderful stay at the ADK Chalet. The property is extraordinarily clean and brand new. It is also very cozy with two fireplaces and an outdoor fire pit. The location is convenient for getting to Lake Placid, Keene, and Whiteface Mt. We would definitely recommend a stay here and hope to come back in the future!

Lax fun

Four girls lacrosse officials and one of our sons stayed at the chalet for the Lake Placid lacrosse tournament and we wanted a comfortable place . This chalet far exceeded our expectations and truly made us feel at home ! The hosts are incredible and extremely accommodating. We will be back because this home is incredible!

For us, the pandemic presented an opportunity to embark on a two-year adventure of a lifetime - the construction of our dream chalet. Despite the challenges of the pandemic and our build, we persevered and are proud to share the results of our hard work with you! We welcome you to stay in our beautiful and cozy retreat and escape the stresses of daily life. The Adirondack Mountains offer a magical escape into nature. With vast forests and fresh mountain air, hiking in this region is a must-do activity. The diverse terrain and breathtaking vistas will leave you in awe. Don't miss out on experiencing the magic of the Adirondacks firsthand.

We chose Ausable Acres because it has the "close enough, but far enough away," feeling. Not to mention, our neighborhood has its own water infrastructure-a rarity in the ADK!!

What makes this property unique

We spared no expense to make our home feel both modern and inviting, while maintaining that rustic mountain-town charm! Our property comes equipped with our favorite amenity, a GENERAC! The ADK loves to lose power. Our guests need to count down from 60 seconds during an outage and the GENERAC will do the rest! We have Trex decking, a beautiful paver patio and custom fire-pit area. There are two entries/exits into our driveway, making it easy to get in and out (especially in the winter)!
