Despite a few flaws in the property itself, it was nice. The semi ocean view and convenience to the beach was awesome; the location is also very close to places to eat and souvenir shop. The property management was very responsive to our inquiries and we appreciated that. They even took care of an external issue that we noticed while scoping out the location prior to our stay. I would stay at Surf’s Up again.

It truly is our home away from home. We've have rented this home for several years and hope to do so for several more. Our hot tub was out of commission from Tuesday and still not fixed by the time we left, but no fault of the owners as a third party handles that. The closeness to the beach is a huge plus for us and little kids to make the trip back for lunch or to cool off in the pool for a while.

House seems to have been updated recently with great new kitchen and well decorated. Plenty of space for 2 families. Paid for early check-in and was worth it! At the pool/on the beach by 1pm on the first day! Only issues-we had to clean some when we arrived and there was some garbage under 2 of the beds and the decking (although power washed and clean) is in rough shape (broken off rusty nails and loose boards)

Everything was perfect and management company was prompt and courteous. If I was forced to nit pick the only two things I could say would be we asked for the pool light to be fixed and it wasn’t (oh well) and the second and most major issues we had were the week went by way to fast and next year is going to come way to slow!! By 4 pm it was hot no matter how low you had the ac. I called the maintenance people and they didn’t ha e anyone fix it till our last day. Very disappointed in that. The rest of the house was beautifully decorated and had very comfortable furniture.

The pool was great, 3-5 feet so perfect for playing with the kids.plenty of pool and beach toys and even a library to borrow books from. I would definitely rent this home again. Kitchen was well stocked. Extra mini fridge and ice maker on ground level. The only thing that would make it better would be a gas grill. Oh and there is a basketball hoop but we never found a basketball.

This is second best to ocean front. The views from our deck were beautiful of the ocean. Walking right out our driveway to the access steps to the beach was wonderful especially for varying everything to the beach. The house was clean and very well stocked with kitchen items. The pool was a great size for hanging out when you needed a break from the beach and to relax. House is close to shopping and restraunts. The furniture is showing a little wear but was still not bad. Our family said we would definitely stay here again. The view, location and pool are the highlights for Surfs Up.)

Only issues we had were the bathroom fan in the master bathroom ran 24/7. You could turn it off and it would turn back on a few minutes later. When using certain appliances, the lights would flicker including in the rooms which was hard with the kids & there was no broom!!!! We searched everywhere for a broom so we could sweep up messes and found only vacuum cleaner and a mop. My kids spilled some chips outside and it was a real inconvenience not having a broom. Other than that, the house was great.

The proximity to the beach was perfect. Only about 50 yards to walk. Groceries, restaurants, shopping are all very close. Only a couple of miles away. This house had plenty of beach chairs and toys for the kids. One con was the amount of towels. They literally give one towel per head count so we had to keep washing them daily. Also the pool could have used a cleaning midweek. The pool guy stopped over unannounced which was creepy but all he did was drop some water into the hot tub and pool. The owners of the house left us two Yeti’s with a nice personal note which was a great touch. We would definitely recommend staying here. We loved our stay and plan to come back in the future.

Reviewer Comments: My family has been renting Surf's Up on and off for around 13 years.We had voiced our concerns with some of the homes need of attention a number of times. We were so glad to see most concerns were addressed. We kept returning because this home holds a special place in my heart.We originally chose this home to bring my loving mom as she was diagnosed with inoperative cancer.We spent that time with her there as a we obviously love coming each and every time.The only other concerns that need attention is the ac unit. 3 floors ,1 control,frozen 2 nd floor,too hot upstairs and bottom floor.Also not sure when the mattresses have been replaced. Other then that ,the home owners did address most of our concerns.We hope to keep coming back ,now with our 3 growing grandsons who just love being at Surf's Up!

Lucky we had brought our own. A quick note saying hey here is where they are located The microwave took a few minutes to understand the operation. Instructions might be nice for future guestsMostly it was the hard mattresses. Thought about buying a air mattress or memory foam. The most bearable would be the bunk bed however no Tv in that room. Not ocean front at all. Should be listed as ocean view. Still enjoyed it overall. Wish it had been warmer. A freak cold spell prevented any pool time

The home had been beautifully updated with QUALITY fixtures and furniture and impeccably decorated.(The furniture is COMFORTABLE!) The owners have thought of EVERYTHING!! There is a pool safety alarm system on every door on the pool level for young children's safety and our peace of mind. Baby equipment,dozens of movies and video games,puzzles and books for adults and children of all ages, and the best stocked rental kitchen I have ever encountered. Each television includes amazon fire TV/stick or Roku TV as well as an extensive cable package. The hottub and pool are well maintained and proved to be quite the hit with our guests. We appreciated the heated outdoor shower because we had some windy days. Ground level bathroom access from the pool deck...I could go on and on. Absolutely fantastic. Great neighborhood, great beach access..amazing views in all directions. I can't stop raving about this property! We love Yeti V and cannot thank the owners and Beach Realty enough for an awesome shoulder season stay!

We probably spent most of our time at the house in the awesome backyard. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, pavilion, and games. By far the best backyard we’ve ever rented in a house. We were blessed with awesome Summer weather which allowed us to utilize all the fun the Yeti V offers. The bedrooms were roomy and had comfortable beds. The linens were nice and clean. Bathrooms very updated and spacious. The kitchen has literally everything you could need to make meals at the house. Comfy living room furniture with plenty of board games to play. The large TVs makes for nice relaxing after a busy day. Parking was plentiful. Location was perfect with gorgeous views and easy to reach beach access. Quiet and private feeling neighborhood. For the most part the house was clean, just not much attention was put into vacuuming the floors on all levels or the toilet on the middle level hall bathroom. Otherwise, the house was very well kept. The owners surprised us with an awesome and thoughtful gift during our stay which was left for us in an adorable gift box with a sweet little thank you note. Beach Realty was very easy to work with. We loved the ease of check-in since we didn’t have to head to their office to do so, we simply entered the door password and we were home! We had contacted them via text message the day after our arrival for batteries for the remote for the living room ceiling fan and minutes later a maintenance technician came and installed them for us. Beach Realty has an app that explained all the things we needed for our stay and sent message updates throughout our stay. We would definitely rent the Yeti V again and work with Beach Realty.

Pleasant stay

Overall an excellent experience. We were contacted to go ahead and check in however cleaning people were still there. Everything was nice and maintained. Would recommend it. Very close to the beach. Accessibility via stair ramp about a 2 minute walk. Excellent pool area with hot tub and cabana. Rooms are smaller than the pictures make them appear. Nice interior. Outside/ siding would look better with a new paint job. Overall would highly recommend.

Perfect Family Getaway

Wow!!! We loved this house & property. Plus this is a prime location to the beach, stores & attractions. They thought of everything, plenty of things for both the kids & adults. All you need is your clothes and a beach towel! Short walk to a beautiful beach, picture perfect sunsets and the pool area was a ton of fun. We loved the layout of the house with lots of room for everyone to spread out. Can't forget to mention 3 beautiful bathrooms. A total dream vacation.
