Jennette's Pier and the aquarium are only a mile away not to mention, enough restaurants, shopping and family activities to keep you busy every day of your vacation.

If laying low around the home-front is your preference, the huge beach and private pool with numerous decks provide enough room for everyone to find their own space.

I rented this place with 2 other families and what a fun time we had. Plenty of space and what a location. It was the first time visiting Nags head for all of us and we had a great time. The plentiful bedrooms gave us flexibility to accommodate older and younger kids. Access to the beach was easy, and the pool was a delightful alternative (and plenty warm enough). Other reviewers mentioned steep stairs, but the stairs seemed normal to us. House was very clean and the kitchen was well-stocked. Would definitely stay here again!

Upon our arrival my entire family could not believe how clean this place is. Beautifully renovated and stocked for all needs. The only thing I could suggest to the owners are some shower heads that provide a tad more pressure but this is not something that would change my mind about returning. If you’re looking for a house with lots of space for large parties, this is the one!

The description of the property was accurate. The only issue I had was that I did leave a message for the office through the app at check-in as well as through email to let them know that a large percentage of the lightbulbs were out in the house; however, I received no response during my stay. I did speak with them on the phone after departure and relayed that message again. Staff was very helpful and kind. I would highly recommend the property and property management company. This house was near Jeannette's Pier, plenty of shopping and restaurants.

The house was very nice for our group of 11. Bedrooms were perfect for our family. The housekeeping was a little subpar but was handled by the rental company. A few maintenance needs were quickly and efficiently handled as well. Loved the pool and the hottub!! The best thing for our grandsons, beside the beach, was the basketball goal!! Kitchen was well stocked and there were tons of books and puzzles. Might want to replace the king mattress in the bedroom facing the beach. The location was perfect since we went south to Hatteras and Ocracoke one day and then up to Duck and Corolla one day. Had a great time with go-carts and putt putt as well as fishing from the pier. Overall, our family had a wonderful week!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as advertised and we would stay again. It met the needs of our family vacation that included 6 kids between ages 1 and 8. The kiddie pool was perfect, but a few of the deck recliners were cracked. The house was clean and well-maintained, other than a some ants on the upper level. Kitchens pans were great, but we could have used some more kitchen and grill utensils. A couple of other minor things: freezer pops open with the fridge closing so we had some freezer burn issues. Grill propane tank was empty upon arrival. WiFi was good with some connection loss, and tv in main room is old. We did have some issues with the outside doors and getting locked out so a keypad would have been phenomenal. A few of the stair boards leading to the beach need replaced and lots of nails popped on the deck, but fantastic location! We would absolutely stay again!

Off season stay at tranquility

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and property were as described; however, the quality check done prior to our check in was subpar. The screen was detached from the main floor deck door and was flapping in the breeze, a broken chair was in the middle of the deck, one of the king master bedrooms was without power and had an outlet cover that was broken with an exposed electrical box, there was a line of dead ants along the upper cabinets, and uncleaned walls in the kitchen by the trash cans (obviously food splatter) and upstairs master bathroom by the toilet. The gentleman who came to correct the electrical issues, remove the broken chair and repair the screen was very nice but knew he didn’t have the right materials to repair the screen and tried a bandaid approach rather than getting the correct items and it promptly broke free an hour after he left. We really enjoyed our trip and the view from the house but the aforementioned issues were quite frustrating.

stunning location with nice interior spaces

Beach house is well situated with nice interior space, seating, and features. It served our 4 generations extended family trip very well. Like all larger ocean front beach houses...it is a fairly big outlay for a weeklong vacation, but one we are willing to make for the convenience of staying oceanfront in a well-appointed house with a pool. To be fair, there is one facet of the house that needs improvement...its beds. The state of the beds and quality of the mattresses do not align with the rest of the experience and what you want with a relaxing vacation. The mattresses and frames are noisy, bunkbeds are tired with broken slats and bowed or broken supports, and the mattresses themselves are tired and concave. From a comfort standpoint they are about as poor as can be. Folks pay a lot for such a stellar property; having well-maintained beds so folks can both decompress, enjoy the other great amenities the house offers, and sleep comfortably would really make this place a perfect spot.

Great Location for a Sub-Par House

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the house is awesome. It's very close to two piers, the bypass, plenty of restaurants and activities, Manteo, etc. The dune to get to the beach appears recently re-built and is very large, so you have to walk to the public access to the right when leaving the pool area. You can also just use the public access as it's an easier walk. However, the house was filthy upon arrival which the management company sent back a crew the next day to re-clean. The Kiddie Pool looks like it's never been cleaned and appears to have a leak - we avoided it like the plague. One of the middle floor's bathroom showers drains through the sub-floor and into the car-port, so there is definitely some bad plumbing and mold going on throughout. Large pool was fine, but was also dirty - likely due to just being oceanfront and the winds blowing in sand and crud. Carpet is tattered and needs replacing, some electrical outlets don't work in various rooms, some rooms are missing privacy blinds on the sliding glass doors, some of the ceiling fans don't function, and overall the house is in need of some repair. Driveway is tiny, vegetation overgrowing parts of the paved driveway, and hard to park all cars for a big family. We found that we loved the location, but did not care for the house and wouldn't rent it again. We've found other homes are equal or less cost than this house with the same amenities, but other homes are much cleaner and overall a higher quality property. Also, our access code for checkout changed at 9:30am, not the agreed upon 10am per contract, so we were lucky we had someone inside when that happened to open the doors for us so we could continue moving out. Property management is responsive via text message, but only the cleanliness was addressed after reporting a poor condition. We felt the house hasn't received proper attention and the pictures are misleading. Stay somewhere else for the cost. 1 star for condition/cleanliness, 4 stars for location.

Relaxing Week with Family

We loved having easy access to the beach and the convenience of the swimming pool on days when the ocean was rough. The 3rd floor living space provided plenty of room for our family to enjoy meals and quality time together, but plenty of space to spread out in other parts of the home when desired.We loved the South Nags Head location that is close to Fishheads, Jenette's Pier, and other shops and restaurants. As other reviewers mentioned, the home is in need of a bit of maintenance in some areas, likely as a result of frequent renter traffic. (i.e. saggy couch throw pillows, extremely tattered door mat at the front entrance, missing decorative tiles in the pool, living room floor damaged) None of these minor items would keep us from renting the home again, and we hope to return in the future!

Wonderful family vacation

This house fit the bill in every way - a lovely home and lots of space, a beautiful view and easily accessible. It's on the beach so sand is inevitably tracked around the house, and we found a few remnants from the prior renters (seemingly a hurried cleaning), but otherwise the pictures accurately show the home. Property Managers were very responsive - brought a new coffee maker, fixed lights, etc. It was our first trip to the Outer Banks and we hope to be back one day!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beach Realty were very professional and kind. I have rented homes from them for the past 25 years. This home is beautiful and spacious. Rooms were clean and towels and linens were provided. Kitchen is somewhat small for the number of persons that could actually stay and is poorly stocked with pans/pots and tupperware for left overs. Our family and friends loved the location and the pools were beautiful. One concern is that the pool needs to be cleaned a few times during the week, rather than only after tenants leave on Sunday. We had sand in both pools all week long. I understand the owner is in charge of the pool cleaning and hires out for this. The gentleman who came to test the ph refused to clean it for us,[he would have done it for $45 out of our pocket] flooded the hot tub, and was very rude. The owner needs to be aware of this!We had a wonderful week with family and friends, and would rent this home again. Thanks for a great week at the beach.
