We are a husband and wife team, who owns a few investment properties. Our passion is to buy neglected houses (we usually look for the ones that nobody else wants to buy), demolish, and rebuild the houses. The idea was to 'fix and flip' the houses. However, every house that we worked on turned into a property that we have poured so much love and time into, that we cannot get ourselves to sell it again! Wigwam crawled into our hearts and became our second STR (the other one is Serenity Chalet, a cabin in Morganton, GA - a different story for another time).
Why they chose this property
This A-frame house is one of a few that was built in the early 1990s. She was in a terribly neglected condition when we bought her. After months of restoration, Wigwam is now a friendly, welcoming little house, eager to host her guests. Although just over 1000 sqft, we were able to create three roomy bedrooms, each with its own deck. We offer a bathroom on each floor and a full-size, well-equipped kitchen with an adjacent laundry room. The backyard offers plenty of room and privacy to play family games such as cornhole. The four decks each offer a different view and an early morning coffee spot. Speaking of coffee - a complimentary coffee bar with all the fixings is waiting on you. Parking is not a problem. The driveway can easily accommodate four cars. We also have room for a boat trailer. You are most welcome to bring your water toys!
