Bandit's Cove 2BR/2BA bayfront home

Bandit's Cove is a lovely 2BR/2BA home located on the bay on Alligator Point. Hidden away in your own little Florida oasis with live oaks and palm trees surrounding, this home gives the true "old Florida" feel. Inside you will find beautiful pine walls through the open living room and kitchen. With two bedrooms and two full size bathrooms this home will sleep 6 max with a king in the master and a queen and twin day bed with trundle in the second room. The upstairs sunroom enclosed and has A/C perfect for relaxing and over looking Alligator Harbor. There is a lower deck which is screened in and leads to a room with a pool table and washer and dryer. Bring your boat or fish right from the back yard.
Dogs are allowed with a $100 non-refundable pet fee. 2 max.

Places to visit in the surrounding area include: Tate's Hell Nature Trail, the Historic Carrabelle Lighthouse and Museum, Camp Gordon Johnston World War II Museum, Dog Island Ferry excursions, charter fishing, kayaking, guided tour boats at Wakulla Springs, Panacea's Gulf Specimen Marine Lab (with touch pools for children), Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve, a variety of local seafood eateries and a local supermarket. Close by is the beautiful St. James Bay Golf Course and Resort 370 Acres of Golf Community, Resort Style 18 hole Play golf course designed by Robert Walker. The Famous Crooked River Grill is just 15 minutes away. Located a little over an hour's drive from Tallahassee, and only thirty minutes from St. George Island and Apalachicola. Come and discover the true meaning of "The Forgotten Coast".

Great Old school Florida

The house has a great spot next to the dock to setup an outdoor party. Beautiful back end of Alligator Bay, only draw back is the boat ramp locations are hard to access and find. I would recommend this house as a great place to stay.

Great Getaway

We wanted a quiet spot for biking, kayaking, and beach walks. This was just the spot. It was more house than we needed for the two of us, but it felt like home. Would definitely visit this property again!

Beautiful scenery

We stayed here during a quick trip for our daughter’s engagement. The setting was perfect and made for great photos. The house is older and has a stale air odor that didn’t seem to go away while we were there. Overall good experience.

Perfect Weekend

We rented Bandits Cove as a staycation with our family on a special weekend for us. It was perfect! House is beautiful and bigger than we thought. The views are amazing! So many outside activities for the kids- the pool table/ping pong room was a huge hit! If you fish, don't forget your poles. Caught some redfish right in the back yard! We will definitely be back!!
