Mrs. Trish was very accommodating to our group. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay. The service is not great here so, it was a very nice break from the hustle and bustle of life.

The lodge provided ample room for our family trip. With children from 1 to 23, there was entertainment for all from the swing set, pool table, fishing & just space to be kids. We especially enjoyed the fire pit. Our cooking contest was a hit with grills and large kitchen - everything we needed. Trish was readily available for any questions. Incredible trip. Sweet memories made!

Spectacular Family vacation spot

From arrival and checkin all the way to check out… and all the in between this place was more then we expected and more amazing then anticipated for our family… kids had an amazing time with games - swimming- fishing and all… the house had lots of rooms and always stayed cool in spite of all the folks… loved the spot for grilling and the outside lounge areas…. highly recommend this place for a laid back family vacation spot…

Yes, the properly was very welcoming to plants. Everything was clean. Everything was good. Me and my family had a wonderful time and Yrish as the host was the best host ever she met all of my family even the dog and everybody loved her.

Beautiful and Cozy!

Such a beautiful place and property. Plenty of room to spread out and a fully equipped kitchen made it really hard to pack up and leave. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. The owners made us feel like family and were so accommodating to us. The views were outstanding and we even saw deer swimming in the lake! Can’t wait to stay here again next year!

Wonderful wedding weekend

The property grounds are beautiful. The location was perfect in relation to our venues for both the wedding and the rehearsal dinner. The kitchen was awesome. The fact we could all stay together was wonderful. There were some issues with the sinks backing up and the cleanliness of the bathrooms but overall we had a wonderful stay.

Great stay!

The property is exactly as shown! It accommodated my entire bridal party for the weekend. We were able to sleep everyone comfortably and had room for everyone to spend time with each other throughout the weekend.

Awesome property!

Lundy Creek Lodge was the perfect location for our annual family reunion! The dining room was large enough for our whole family to eat and play games together. Teresa was the perfect hostess showing us the property. We loved the Tripadoodle playground for our young family members. We would highly recommend this location for family reunions!

Perfect Family Home

We enjoyed our stay at the Lundy Creek Lodge! The home was so cozy, from the rocking chair porch, commercial kitchen, separate living spaces, lounge/bar to the lake. We had 40 people stay together for a celebration, all the rooms were full and we were able to all have our own space and enjoy one another. The lake and dock was so enjoyable and peaceful, we caught several fish. The grist mill and stream is a short walk and is awesome to see.The host, Krista, is very accommodating, very responsive and easy to work with throughout the entire process. This is a must stay for a relaxing, home feel get away!

Celebrated 90th Birthday

There was room for all of our family. We enjoyed the lodge and property. There was plenty to do. Lot’s of fishing, playing pool, working out and porch sitting, walking the property. Dining room and living room were large enough for 25 people to eat and play games. Bedrooms were comfortable. Few minor issues taken care of quickly. Loved the welcome note and flowers. This is a great place to stay!

Lovely Lundy Lodge

We hosted our extended family from out of state for a wedding celebration. Everyone had a room and bathroom,we had a huge dining room to enjoy meals together, the pool was a welcome activity in the heat, and it was convenient to the oconee brewery. The property manager was wonderful and went above and beyond for us. We just loved our family time and the comforts of being in a “home”

Trish (host) was great. Very attentive and accommodating of our needs.The internet was slow. Our personal phones struggled with cell service too. Pool area seemed to have the best luck with reception. Overall, just a good reason to unplug and enjoy the space.Pool was a hit. All parents and children could get in and still not feel like we were on-top of each other. Size of pool was probably 20-ft x 60-ft. Ranged from 3-ft (shallow end) to 5-ft deep.Pond was larger than expected. Weather was super hot so not very lucky with catches, but did have many daily fishing attempts and a few catch and releases.We were unable to locate the hot tub. Not sure if that’s been removed from the site. We never mentioned it because it was low priority for our family.The house had a lot of amenities that our family commonly enjoys. Big open social area to chat with all guests. Access to the washer and dryer was fantastic to allow us keep clothes and towels fresh during the whole stay. HVAC worked like a charm, almost like it was the first day of install. The house is quite large and those units kept all levels at a nice crisp temp the entire time.The industrial kitchen was a tad complex, but we were able to figure it out and cooked many meals. The basement needed some bug control, nothing that we couldn’t handle with just discarding as insects were found. The Grist/creek was an awesome spot for kids to adventure.This house will continue to be in rotation for a repeat vacation spot.

Family Reunion Paradise

We were so pleased with this lodge! It allowed our family to stay together under one roof. Since it was only from Friday night to Sunday morning, we all got to spend tons of time enjoying the love and laughter. They have a pond with great fishing, a kids play area, porch with rockers, multiple areas to walk and explore that are beautiful, a fire pit. Trust me our family enjoyed it all. This place is way better than you can imagine, and Teresa was great to work with and help out with anything we needed. We are definitely doing this again! I hope y'all are ready, cause when the rest of the family realizes what they missed, the number is going to rise from 39 to max capacity!

Work Retreat

Stayed here for a work retreat with 17 people. Overall, the house was okay, kitchen was big, and we really enjoyed the outdoor space, especially the fire pit. Our biggest issue was the shower water, there were times where it would get really hot and really cold. We also had issues with the air upstairs - didn’t work our last night, and our guests were extremely hot. Also, the second fridge wasn’t cold and there were also bugs in most of the rooms.

Our Weekend

The host is good about responding and trying to accommodate guests when issues are known. To help the business, there should definitely be a checkoff list for the groundskeeper to make sure that guests are not the person to rely on when there are issues because the guests expect for the lodge to be in top condition upon arrival just as any other rented venue or resort. It's definitely enough space for people. We had a full Itinerary down to the hour. We had a good time overall. The fishing pond was decent. The pool wase did have to spray and known down wasp nests.

Retirement/Family Weekend

We really enjoyed staying on the property. It was perfect for what we needed. We only had a few issues figuring out how to use the stove because it is a commercial kitchen. The internet was slow, but that is common sense due to the area and all the people trying to get on at once. The kitchen was well stocked with all the pots, pans etc you will need. The furniture was older, but to be honest I would have felt uncomfortable being responsible for a property that had everything brand new. So many people came to me that were invited to my mom's retirement weekend or dinner and asked for information on renting the property. I would LOVE to come back during the summer and be able to take advantage of the pool and pavilion. The communication from the host was awesome and fast. She even let us come and view the property probably 3xs before our stay. We chose this place because it is close to my family that still live in Sparta and it was also convenient to I-20 for those coming from Atlanta, Augusta, and S.C. I can not wait to plan another stay.

The scenery surrounding the property is absolutely stunning—it felt like a private getaway tucked into nature with the perfect mix of comfort and luxury.The home itself was immaculate. Every room was thoughtfully prepared, and nearly every bedroom had its own private bathroom—which made things incredibly convenient for our large family. The game room and exercise room were big hits, offering fun and relaxation for all ages. And the pool… absolutely perfect! Clean, inviting, and surrounded by gorgeous views.We also loved spending time by the lake—it added such a calm, peaceful vibe to the whole weekend. Throughout our entire stay, there wasn’t a single bug sighting, and no one in our group experienced any irritation or discomfort. Everything was spotless and clearly well cared for, which gave us all peace of mind.Trish’s hospitality was top-notch. Family Reunion

Our stay was pleasant except for a few issues. To begin the screen/glass door handles were broken on the front and back porch and kept falling off every time we used the doors. When we checked in, the refrigerator in the kitchen was not getting cold and we had to transfer all our food to the downstairs fridge making cooking quite inconvenient. Some of the shower curtains had pink mold all over them from not being cleaned and the towels had brown spots on them. Lastly, the children's bedroom upstairs was unusable as it had mold on the air vent and many bugs on the ceiling. For the price of the rental I would have hoped not to have these issues. The grounds and the home overall was pleasant and we had an enjoyable family reunion but I would not stay again for the price and condition of the home unless those issues were addressed and fixed.
