Ask a questionAbout Dan Sullivan
We have lived here full-time and part-time for many years. Love all four seasons. The property was the original homestead in Curtis Hollow, built around 1780. We were able to preserve the original post and beam homestead (now the fireplace/dining room.) Lots of history and good feelings abound. We love the rural setting with hikes to the waterfall, and top of Baldy mountain, and minutes to great restaurants, shopping, skiing, golf etc.
Dan Sullivan purchased this Farmhouse in 1976
Why Dan Sullivan chose South Woodstock
Great history to the property and land. Open fields and spiritual garden offer peace and quiet. Enjoy the babbling brook, the waterfall and miles of hiking trails. The house is very comfortable and spacious. It is a very unique, warm and open space to enjoy a group or family getaway. We try to accommodate your needs and hope that your stay becomes memorable.... and maybe a tradition!
What makes this Farmhouse unique
The land surrounding our home is beautiful and we have worked hard to maintain our gardens and sitting areas. The home is owner designed with many separate levels for privacy and many large, round windows for lots of natural light. The spiritual garden that features a stone labyrinth is special to our family... and yes, we built the labyrinth ourselves.
