It is a lovely, quiet setting and has a lot of amenities. Beautiful house!We enjoyed how close it was to everything and all the places to visit in that area. Beware that the staircase can be a little difficult if you are older (like us). Host is very accommodating to your needs and quickly responds. Thank you Kim!

The stay was okay. Furniture was not comfortable as the pictures looked. Hard to get up out of it. Some appliance are not in working order. Kayaks needed power washed. Fire pit and patio area was very nice and plenty of wood. Outdoor games were fun. Cookies were a great treat!

The Homestead had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed family time together; cooking, playing games, bonfire, and water activities. There's a grocery store close by for most food or personal items needed. We had a party of 7 and there was enough space and furnishings for all of us. Kim was an excellent hostess with great communication. We even left an item behind and between Kim and the cleaner we communicated efficiently to set up a time and place to get it back. We really enjoyed our stay at this charming farm house.

Our property manager was excellent - the farmhouse was cozy and very quaint. we sat on the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoyed all the sounds of nature.very enjoyable stay.

We had a good time

The house is roomy and comfortable. We used the kitchen every day and it worked out. It was a good location for visiting the Gilmore museum and the Air Zoo, and Delton is convenient and has good services.

Lake Get-away

Enjoy a relaxing and fun get-away at The Cozy Farmhouse with multi-Lakes to choose from, watercraft options, delicious local food options, and many attractions. The cozy farmhouse was very comfortable for sleeping, nicely decorated in various room styles, had lots of family games, a great fire pit/deck area for our outdoor entertainment, and housed our family with ease.

Family vacation

This is a nice home with lots of room inside and outside for many activities. The close proximity to the lake made it easy to go and use the kayaks and have an awesome time. The host is very good with any communication needed.

Short trip with friends

The host and hostess were amazing,making sure everything we needed was taken care of. Including great restaurants and entertainment in the area. We were able to enjoy the deck and the fire pit area, which was very relaxing. We also were able to utilize the lake which was only a two minute drive or about a five minute walk. Definitely recommend this property.

Pictures do not do this place justice!

This place is beautiful and Kim is a wonderful host. Directions for check in were easy and we were greeted with welcome cookies and a fun game to get comfortable with the house. It worked. It didnt feel like a home we'd rented, it felt like a family member had offered her home while i visited the area for a family reunion. We will definitely be back next year!

Cozy farmhouse

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy farm house. The house feels like a home away from home thanks to all their little details. We had some bad weather and it was easy to contact the host to keep them updated. My son loved all the little touches around the house . He is 8 and all the things they include kept him sooo busy. Definitely will want to stay here again in a heart beat.

Excellent!

We enjoyed our stay at the Homestead. The farm house was very cute & clean. We loved the cookies that Kim left for us! The duck hunt was fun. We loved hanging out on the porch & by the fire pit. The only tricky thing was not having a bathroom upstairs. Other than that, our weekend was very enjoyable. Our Scottie, Maggie also seemed to enjoy staying there!

Kim is a fantastic host! Communication was awesome,very clean!My friends and I stayed there for a bike race. She was even generous enough to let us use the garage to store our bikes. Nice deck area with table outside where we ate dinner one night .Did not get a chance to use the fire pit, but it looked really nice and even supplies the wood. She thought of every detail ,this house had everything that you needed. Including the fresh cookies when we arrived.Fully stocked kitchen not only with all sizes of pots and pans, but a cabinet full of spices and plenty of coffee.love the idea about the various ducks throughout the place.We will be back next year!
