“Out of the Blue” Home and Studio is a Memphis Style contemporary Home on Cambria’s Moonstone Beach designed as a weekend get-away for the artist owner and her husband.

It has an incredible location just steps from Moonstone Beach boardwalk. It is split level: Upstairs has an ocean view living room with Smart TV, a small deck, a dining area, a bathroom with tub and a simple kitchenette. It was designed for guests who only wish to prepare simple meals, because Cambria has many excellent restaurants nearby to explore. Downstairs is a spacious bedroom with a California King size bed, a pure green organic Latex mattress by Sleep on Latex which is firm. There is a TV in the bedroom, an office area, and another bath with shower and large closet. The house is filled with quirky and contemporary artwork.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The reason for 4 stars (not 5)is the bed. It DEFINITELY needs to be changed. One side of the bed is higher than the other (hill and valley). The valley part has bumps. Very uncomfortable.It didn't spoil our stay. We love Cambria, especially Moonstone beach and Fiscalini Ranch, and the house overall is spacious, beautiful and in great location. Just replace the matress, PLEASE.

A Truly Wonderful Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a sweet getaway location for us. Just perfect for a relaxing a few days away from distractions and the sounds of the city. This location perfectly checked all the boxes for us. We had a view of the ocean from the living room and would hear the soft ocean waves crashing at night from our bedroom. It’s a short half block walk to moonstone beach boardwalk with its gorgeous coastal views. The beach house is decorated so nicely, impress by the artsy ambiance and furnishings. We loved the large bedroom, ensuite and king-size bed with a very comfortable pillowtop. Cambria is a quiet town with plenty of shops and restaurants which we took advantage of while on our stay. We also venture out to a bluff trail along the coast at the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve which is only a very short drive from the beach house, located at the end of Windsor Blvd. This was the right kind of medicinal treat we needed for the mind and soul. A peaceful lovely time together here. We truly enjoyed this beach house and location. Thank you for a wonderful getaway.Stayed 3 nights Oct. 2023

Moonstone Beach

This property was clean, and newly remodeled. Very comfortable, quiet neighborhood. It is just five houses from Moonstone Beach and walking distance to Moonstone Beach restaurants. Downtown is only about 1/2 mile walk too. The kitchen is a bachelor kitchen with the minifridge, but it worked for us since we were planning on eating out. They do have a brand new BBQ, and a hot-plate if you need to heat something up. This house is connected to the main house, but is private and you can't hear the permanent resident. We really enjoyed our stay.
