We enjoyed our stay. It's a cozy place with clean rooms and it's nicely decorated. It rained while we were there, so we didn't try out the fire pit. Maybe next time. We have Verizon phones and cell service was a bit spotty. However, there is wifi if you need internet.
The house was great with a large yard. Close to Seabrook which has shopping and beach access on the way there. Host was accommodating and communicated well! If traveling with littles this is a great place to stay.
The house was very clean and well appointed. Hosts were very pleasant to work with. This was our first time using VRBO since we usually use our timeshare. The hosts provided everything that our timeshare would normally have provided. If you have a chance go to the Ocean restaurant in the casino. Best fish taco I’ve ever had! Go to Seabrook and make a candle or two. Seabrook also has a Saturday market. Wish we had checked out the glass studio one block north of the house. Our son brought his kayak and had a great time on Lake Quinault. Good times!
We recently stayed here for 3 nights, and it was a great stay. We have 2 small children, and it was so very nice to have the closet full of toys which kept the kids busy the whole time we were there. We felt like there was such attention to detail, and that everything that you could possibly need had been thought of. The hosts were incredibly responsive, and a pleasure to work with. We didn’t end up using the backyard as we were busy at the beach nearby. Beach toys and towels were also included, as well as a pack n play, and noise machines in every bedroom. So thoughtful! And the house was very clean. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
Husband is 70+, 60+ Female, and young Family w 2 girls under 10yo. Total of 6. We were very comfortable, HOSTS thoughtful and left a personal Birthday card and goodies for us. My Niece and i celebrated our Bdays there. Informative book at house for stay details, WIFI info, Emergency etc. Information about area, was very nice to see. Hosts communicated quickly when sent questions. This was my First Vacation Home Rental.
The Home very clean, pleasing decor, no mini appliances just like being Home. The backyard HUGE! Early mornings a Doe and her fawn could be seen grazing. At Dusk a Buck would come with them. They were watchful and would leave if you entered backyard. Wood provided IF you used firepit. Dryness of area we did NOT. Burnban was in effect for area. A very nice propane grill provided with utensils. Also outside games provided.
The bedrooms had nice mattresses, different densities too. The girls loved the kids or twinbed room. Bedding was better than the linens provided for us at Hotel down road on our last stay there. Hosts planned very well thinking of comfort.
Livingroom comfy couches pulled out to queen sized. We didn't use. Entertainment on TV with WIFI to access your apps, NO Buffering! Especially while watching a movie. Dining table perfect for us. Placemats colorful!
Overall this was like being Home. Comfortable, private. Parking easily allowed ample room unloading. We came in an H2 Hummer and a Dodge Durango, enough for 3.
Brooke and Tom met in California and quickly decided the PacNW was for them. Trees and water! Currently residing in Olympia, WA
Why they chose this property
Moclips Beach is a special beach being able to drive right on it. Its just over a 1 minute drive door to beach. The parents are most thrilled about it because there are no long or crowded beach trails. Just pick your spot and park. Even on the 4th of July there were many people but we were still about 50 yards away from the nearest person. The south end of the Olympic National Park at the Quinault Lake is a special place where we can launch our rafts and play in the water or explore the forest.
What makes this property unique
The house is small and cozy. Its the perfect place to reconnect as a family either sprawled out on the 2 sectionals or playing one of the memorable board games. When its time to get some space you have it in the backyard. There are a few games, the picnic table to munch, and kick back to relax with the fire pit.
