GATHER- At Fairview House we've created spaces to gather so you can eat and play together. Send the kids up to the bunk/media room to hang out or watch movies on our 80 inch tv. Watch a football game and snack in the open kitchen and living area in front of the fire. Retire to the quiet study to read a book, play chess or have a quiet conversation. Enjoy the privacy and beauty of the well manicured property on the patio with our wood burning fireplace to warm the crisp Highlands air. Sit and rock on the wrap-around porch while watching the family play cornhole in our beautiful back yard.

RETREAT- Our luxury accommodations have 10 bedrooms and 12 bathrooms and can sleep up to 22 comfortably in beds . You’ll have space to take time for yourself in the privacy of your own room. Luxury bedding and linens will spoil you as you rest and relax on your Highlands retreat.

SAVOR- Our expansive fully stocked kitchen provides the opportunity for indulgent meals prepared at the property. The 10x5 ft kitchen island becomes a gathering place for an audience to sip cocktails and visit while the "chefs" in your group prepare memorable meals. Share your creations at our 14 seat dining table or dine alfresco on the patio. We have thought of everything so the capability and convenience to create your own culinary experience is at your fingertips. If you just want to relax and leave the cooking to someone else we can provide catering, private chef services, or we can arrange an in-house wine tasting for an unforgettable experience. While it can be difficult to get reservations for large groups during peak times, with proper planning we can assist you in experiencing the best dining experiences Highlands has to offer.

ADVENTURE- Fairview House is located at approximately 4100 ft elevation and is a true four season destination in the heart of the south. The summer temperatures rarely exceed 80 degrees during the day and nights are often chilly when the rest of the south is sweltering. Fall provides for astounding colors as our trees put on their annual leaf show. In the winter you will be steps away from sledding and the town ice skating rink is just three blocks away. Our guests enjoy hiking, fishing the cold streams in the area, nature walks in the botanical garden (5 minute walk from the property), waterfall viewing, and leaf viewing. The Highlands Rec Center provides a 4 season pool, pickleball, tennis courts, basketball gym, skateboard park, and fitness center a short 2 block walk from the house. The Kelsey Hiking Trail is just 1 block from the house for some much needed forest time.

SHOPPING AND DINING- Highlands is renowned for our world class shopping and dining experience. Just a short 4 block walk to Main Street puts you in the center of the action to stroll the quaint sidewalks and visit the unique shops and eateries.
