When it’s time to venture off the private road, the towns of Northport, Leland, Sutton’s Bay and Glen Arbor are calling. Or maybe you want to test your golf game at the Leelanau Club at Bahle Farms, Manitou Passage, or Northport Creek (9 holes, fantastic). You can also catch the ferry to South Manitou for an overnight adventure or spoil yourself with a winery tour around Leelanau. Don’t leave without your trip to the Sleeping Bear Dunes and make sure to stop at Pierce Stocking Drive #9. It will take your breath away!
Bringing the kids? They’ll love the beach, fishing in Leland or on Lake Leelanau, bike rides on the road, scaling the Sleeping Bear Dunes, playing the Par 3 course at Bay Meadows, renting a pontoon from Stander Marine or collecting Petoskey Stones on the beach (they are everywhere!!).
