Not worth the money
If you are looking for a subpar hotel, this is the one. VRBO fails to mention that this hotel is rated as a 2 star hotel. We were charged way too much for what the hotel is worth. If you actually want to stay on this property, you can save money by going through Sonesta Hotels directly. We chose this property because we were traveling with 3 families and the 2 bedroom suites caught our attention.
Each family would have a separate unit for privacy but we would still be all together. Even though VRBO advertised this listing as three 2 bedroom units, when we got there the hotel only had 2 when we specifically paid for 3. There were people living in this hotel. We felt awkward and unsafe at times. We were a group of 15 with 7 children. Someone living in the hotel kept complaining about the kids being kids. We stayed for 6 nights and had to take care of our own housekeeping. We had to carry dirty towels to the front desk to exchange for clean towels, we had to throw our own trash away, we had to ask for toilet paper and clean sheets and change everything ourselves. The bathroom in one room had hair from a previous guest on the shower wall. Another room had the plastic part of ring pop on the middle of the floor in the living area. A bathroom in another room looked like construction was started and never finished. There were roaches running around outside by the BBQ area. There were never any clean towels by the pool. There were piles of garbage under staircases.
