A Perfect Place

We all had a grand time in Hickory at this lovely home. It was immaculate and filled with everything one needs to feel at home. The beds were comfy as can be. The bathrooms were sparkling clean. The living room is divine...a perfect spot where you like to settle down and read a magazine or book. Communication with the owner was a breeze. I'd LOVE to go back.

Lovely downtown home

We loved staying in this beautiful home in downtown Hickory over Christmas! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need for cooking a nice Christmas dinner, and we loved sitting on the bar stools at the big kitchen island as our “cook”/my husband prepared the food. The beds are super comfy, and the location to fun restaurants and shops is great. A big thank you to the owner for quick replies when we had questions. We really appreciate it!

Thanksgiving Family Visit

The house is just as pictured. We had ample space for our family to get together for Thanksgiving. The location is close to everything we needed. The neighbors were friendly. Close walking distance to stores downtown. Overall this was what we were looking for in our visit. The only downside is that while the yard is fully fenced there are areas with picket fence and due to squirrels and other animals in the area we kept our dog on a leash at all times. We would recommend this place for anyone needing a large family gathering space, place to take family photos, etc.

Weekend stay

I immediately felt at home in this house and could feel and see the history here. What a great place this must have been to live over the years. The master bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable. The mattress was great and nice large shower. The decor was tasteful and everything was clean and uncluttered. There was a lot of room for my family to space out. I enjoyed the quietness of the living room to read, while my husband could watch tv in the den. We didn’t stay long enough to cook but the kitchen was big enough to host a nice dinner. We loved being so close to downtown. The neighborhood is nice and good for walking. Hope to stay here again.

Beautiful Home!

This property was absolutely beautiful! It had everything we needed and more. We particularly enjoyed coming home each evening and watching a movie in the TV room or sitting at the big island in the kitchen and planning our next days adventure. It was our first time in Hickory and we couldn't have loved it more! The shops downtown and the weekend Farmer's Market were fabulous! The purpose of our trip was to visit some NC wineries. Hickory was the perfect spot! It is surrounded by vineyards! We are already planning our next visit and hope to stay at this property again!
