Just 12 miles from downtown Gulf Shores, you'll be close enough to restock your supplies, go to restaurants and local attractions, but far enough away to escape the crowds.

Here are just a few things we absolutely love about the area:

- Directly across the street from the resort (turn left out of Gulf Shores Plantation) Viewing dock to watch the sunset on Mobile bay. This is truly breathtaking when the skies are clear!

- For fine dining, definitely check out Jesse's on the Bay (approximately 3 miles from the condo) The food is amazing and the water front view of Mobile Bay is breathtaking. Be sure to make reservations early in your stay. This is our favorite local place and it is very popular! After dinner, stroll out to the large dock and enjoy the peaceful sights & sounds of the Bay.

- Fishing charters are available approximately 6 miles away from the condo for deep sea and in-shore trips, or perhaps enjoy a dolphin cruise to watch the dolphins play.

- Visit Fort Morgan, famous for its role in the Battle of Mobile Bay and experience this historic site, rich in history. It was here, Union Admiral David Farragut ordered his fleet to charge the heavily mined bay. "Damn the torpedoes!" said Farragut.

- Take a nature walk in the Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge located near the resort.

- Enjoy local attractions such as The Wharf, ziplines, the zoo, and more. Savor delicious, fresh seafood at numerous local restaurants.

- Make a splash at Waterville, USA. Waterville is a Water Amusement Park sure to thrill kids of all ages! You can also enjoy OWA, the Theme Park for thrills, shopping and dining. There is something for every member of the family and so much to do on those dreaded rainy days at the beach!

- Visit "Sassy Bass Amazing Grill" for locally sourced oysters from Navy Cove Oyster company. Navy Cove is literally across the road, so when oysters are in season you will not find any more fresh than these!

- Take a ride on the Ferry to Mobile and visit the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. Take a drive to Pensacola and visit the National Naval Aviation Museum.

- Also across the Bay, Bellingrath Gardens - 65 landscaped acres in the midst of a 905-acre semi-tropical rain forest.

Lastly here are a few important things to know...

- Minimum age to rent is 25.
- No smoking allowed.
- No pets. This is not our rule. Our HOA enforces this policy and no pets are allowed anywhere in the building.
- No boats can be parked on the property. This is strictly enforced by security.
- Only two cars are allowed on the property during your stay.
- As part of your stay, we provide one free parking pass. If you have a second car, you will need to purchase an additional parking pass. The parking pass is $35.00.
