Plantation Palms # 6106 is located in the beautiful Gulf Shores Plantation family-friendly resort. Sleep 6 in this 1 bedroom with a queen size bed, 2 twin hall bunks and a queen size sleeper sofa.

This ground-floor condo allows you to walk directly from your private patio down the boardwalk onto the beautiful white sands of the beach. The convenience of never having to wait for an elevator can not be beat! Guests with young children often tell us how much they enjoy relaxing on the patio while the kids enjoy playing in the grassy courtyard area. Just in front of the unit are 2 pools, a kiddie pool (separate secure fencing), a hot tub, a putting green, tennis/pickleball courts and, of course, the fantastic beach! You have a view of the ocean from the unit. Other free resort amenities throughout the landscaped grounds include use of several outdoor pools, the indoor heated salt water pool, outdoor and indoor hot tubs, an exercise room, a sand volleyball court, putting green, and multiple tennis/pickleball courts.

The storage cabinet on the patio has an assortment of beach toys and supplies for guest use. Repeat guests tell us their kids head straight there to check out their toy choices ... guests often "donate" beach supplies that they are finished with so the selection changes from trip to trip!

If you decide to take a break from your fun in the sun, there are games and puzzles in the condo to enjoy.

The on-site restaurant, Sassy Bass Island Grill, is located in the Plantation Dunes building next door.

Seasonal beach chair and umbrella rentals are available right at the end of the boardwalk and can be coordinated directly with the beach attendant.

This condo features a fully equipped kitchen, and seating for dining either inside or outside on the patio. Guests often tell us that they rarely leave the property once they check in.

Outdoor charcoal grills and picnic tables are conveniently located in the courtyard area. (Personal grills are not allowed on the property.)

The resort provides 24/7 on-site security. All visitors stop at the guard station upon entering the property. You will feel secure in this gated family-friendly community. There is ample parking directly in front of the building and this ground-floor unit allows you to park your car and walk right in your door ... no waiting for elevators!

There is a washer and dryer right in the condo.

Plantation Palms is located on the Fort Morgan peninsula, about 20 minutes from central Gulf Shores and all that it has to offer. The Fort Morgan area offers a quiet, less crowded atmosphere. The award-winning Kiva Dunes Golf Course is adjacent to the property. The Fort Morgan historic site, the Fort Morgan Marina, kayak launch access, fishing, walking and bike trails are all located just outside the resort gates in Fort Morgan. In addition to the on-site restaurant, there are other dining choices just west and just east on Fort Morgan Road. Our Frequently Asked Questions page, which is sent out with each reservation, includes a list of all the local restaurants and their locations.

Per HOA guidelines, registration fee of $35 per vehicle must be purchased prior to being issued a parking pass. Registration fees are purchased online through Square and instructions are provided with check-in instructions.

If your dates are not available, we also own unit # 6108 (vrbo # 1756669) just 2 doors down and also on the ground floor. It might be available for the dates you need!

Loved our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The property being right outside the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores was a big plus for us. There are plenty of dining options in the area close to the resort too, that don’t require getting into the busier areas. My top 3 favorite things about this property were the proximity to the beach, having a washer and dryer, and an indoor pool. The only things I think could be improved were having more blankets available, my kids were cold in their bunks, and the remotes cold definitely be updated. All things considered, I would definitely stay here again.

Clean and convenient
The #1 thing about this property is that it is super clean. The linens are commercially washed, the condo is spotless and all of the cooking/dining utensils are in good shape. This unit is centrally located within the property, the ground floor location makes access to the beach & pools very convenient. The tennis court in front of this unit is often in use, but it is quiet (and actually entertaining to watch). The indoor pools are a plus (& much needed in February). Check-in process was very easy; Leah was very clear in her communications and directions. Note - it is a small unit; I would recommend this for a couple or family with 2 young children. The only things I would suggest are a couple of blankets or comforters and some new remotes for the TV's. If you are not familiar with this area - this location is about 15-20 minutes from the main Gulf Shores/Orange Beach drag, but within 10 minutes of 3 golf courses. If you want to be away from the hustle & bustle or play golf, this is a good location for you. I would consider this property again and highly recommend.

You will love it here!
We stay at this exact condo at least 3 times a year. It is such a relaxing getaway. The condo is always clean and well stocked with all the kitchen things, sand toys for the littles and usually even a beach chair or two! It is ground floor and just steps away from pickle ball, swimming pool, hot tub and the beach. You will love it here! Nice quiet beach and Sassy Bass restaurant on the property makes for a lovely vacation.

A Nightmare that Turned into a Blessing
This unit we rented was infected with roaches when we arrived, we called the local number that was requested if you were not happy with cleanliness, but of course no response. Later on throughout the first evening we kept seeing more and more roaches in the kitchen and living room and felt disgusted. We messaged the property manager and thankfully she responded almost immediately! Unfortunately we had to spend our first night in that unit, but her other unit opened up that next morning and was available for the remainder of our stay. She requested to move us there at no extra charge, along with offering a free extra night and a later checkout time. Unfortunately, we couldn’t accept either generous offer due to other time commitments, but we gladly moved into the other unit the next morning. The other unit was marvelous for us! It was more updated with appliances, visually more appealing, and thankfully roach free! The owner also mentioned to us that she would have the roach infection in her other unit take care of immediately and that pest control would come out to spray that same morning that we moved out of it. In summary, our first night was horrendous but the rest of the trip was fantastic! Had a great time. Thank you again Leah!

Our family lives in Tennessee. We have loved making memories with our children in the Gulf Shores area for many years now. Purchasing a vacation rental property has always been a long term goal for us, and we decided that there was no better time than the present!

Why they chose this property

We bought our first condo in Plantation Palms in 2019 because we loved the peaceful drive out to Gulf Shores Plantation, the easy parking right outside the door, and the beach that was beautiful and not crowded despite most units being rented. As we began renting the condo, we realized how many families are loyal to this property and returned to same unit year after year because they love the convenience of walking right off the patio to the beach and pool. When we had the opportunity to purchase another ground floor unit just 2 doors down and offer it for rental for the first time, we couldn't resist! We look forward to sharing it with you!
