Owner Rant

No hot tub, no toilet paper or paper towels, had to ask for a toaster, house only has living room seating for five. The owner called us at 8:06 pm on our last night and wanted to come in the next morning to measure a broken sliding glass door. When I suggested it would be better to wait until we checked out he started a profanity laced screaming tirade. We felt threatened and harassed. For the safety of or grandchildren we packed up all our things and left immediately. We found a hotel to check into for the night. VRBO was no help. Do not stay with this host who just started this year 2023.

Harassed To Leave On Last Day

There is no spa, only sleeping and seating for six, dining for four. On the last night, the person listed as the property manager called me at 8:06 pm and wanted to have someone come by the next day to measure a sliding glass door the gardener broke while weed whacking three days prior. They had been there three times the day they broke it, then again twice the next day and twice on the day the manager called me. I told the manager we would be at a swim meet in the morning so could they come after we check out at 3:00 pm. At that point he started to yell and scream at me “Who the F do you think you are. I will fing go to my property any time I want.” He continues to scream obscenities at me and F my mother. I felt threatened and hung up. We started packing up and left the house to stay at a hotel. I do not know if the manager is the owner but I do know know one has replied to me or VRBO to a request for a refund of our last nights stay They have been no help getting a refund, even though we have been using VRBO as a renter and as an owner for over ten years. They say I should have called them that night before leaving. Your first priority is to protect your family by getting them out of potential harms way. He knew where I and my family were staying. His profanity laced screaming that he would enter his house any time he wanted left me no choice but to pack up and leave immediately.
