Secluded and clean

This was a very nice place just outside of town so it gave you that “country” living feel. Very quiet place and it has all the amenities you need. Would love to stay again anytime.

Booked property for trip to kansas for father in laws 90th Bday. Enjoyed the quietness of the place. Host was very accomidating and great with communication. We brought some cookware and utensils which werenot needed as kitchen utensils were there. Great stay. Only thing I would add is that its 1 1/2 miles from paved nearest paved road and county roads get muddy and slick, so be prepared. The wife and I will book this for future family visits

An Oasis on the Plains

Driving down the dusty back roads and past wheat fields for a couple of miles is like a time warp for folks accustomed to suburban living. When you arrive at the property, surrounded by huge trees, hunched and gnarled from a lifetime of abuse by the relentless prairie winds, you realize you've arrived somewhere special. Sitting out by the firepit and listening to the steady hum of cicadas is bliss. All modern conveniences are available to you in the house. There are ample beds for the kids. It may be off the beaten path, but this is almost a destination in and of itself.
