The cottage has a brand new main bath, the upper level has 1 bedroom with 1 Double Bed and 2 twin beds. The loft has a twin trundle bed. Main level has 1 Queen bedroom, 1 King bedroom with adjoining 3/4 bath. The large eat in kitchen is equipped with a new large high-top table that will seat 8 comfortably plus all the necessities to cook as if you were at home. The large open living room has large windows and new furniture that will seat 10 comfortably! Easy walk to downtown and Lighthouse Pier. Privacy fence in back yard with grill and patio table and chairs. Amenities include: Free Wireless Internet, SmartTV, Dishwasher, Washer/Dryer, Linens, Bikes, Beach Accessories, Games, Beach Chairs and Grill. Weekend getaway

We had a short stay in this cute cottage. The beds were comfortable, however the master shower was a little tight as previous reviewers have stated. Location was a few blocks from the beach and neighborhood was quiet. We enjoyed biking to the beach with the bikes that were provided. We were also able to walk to downtown for breakfast and dinners. Phoenix Street Cafe was great for breakfast and Captain Lou’s didn’t disappoint for dinner. Looking forward to staying here again.

August 2022 Vacation

Spent a week at this vacation rental and found it to be a nice home with lots of space and in a great location. Check in process was easy. Some supplies were limited (ie paper towel, toilet paper, kitchen towels) and the master shower was very small. Overall had lovely stay and would recommend.

Two family vacation

Our group consisted of two families. Adults had their own bedrooms & kids had the upstairs. The central location between the beach, park, & downtown made everything so much easier. We literally parked when we got there & didn't need the car again. This home had a garage full of bikes. Our entire group enjoyed many bike rides together. The neighborhood felt safe & kids were able to bike together while the adults stayed back some of the times. Super cute back yard, easy to lay out beach items to dry. We were there over the 4th & so thankful we could walk to see the fireworks show & parade. Parking was a nightmare that we were able to avoid. Would recommend staying here!

Amazing location

Jennifer was always very quick to respond! The short few blocks to the beach were perfect and we walked to town every evening for dinner. The house was the perfect size for our family and the king size bed in the master bedroom was so soft and cozy! Only one recommendation was to possibly redo the master bath someday. The closet is very large (and not needed) maybe expand the bathroom a bit and put in a tub/shower combo. Otherwise a very nice place!

As a family we've been going to South Haven for many summers to stay in a home for a week with friends. We love the feel of the small town and all the many shops, restaurants, bars, and events always going on. Walks along the beach in the morning and on the pier for the sunset are some of our favorite moments. We enjoyed it so much that we finally bought our own place in 2012 to share with others all the great times you can have in South Haven.

Why they chose this property

This property is in a fantastic location, just 2 blocks from South Beach and Kids Corner and definitely walking distance from downtown. We like the fact that we can just park our car and walk or bike wherever we want to go. The walk or bike ride to town or the beach is beautiful with mature trees and historic homes and everyone is so friendly.

What makes this property unique

We have officially had our awesome cottage for 9 years! Over the years, we have enjoyed updating something major every year, from a roof to a completely renovated main bath. Even more, we have really come to enjoy sharing our home to families and friends. We have been blessed to have some families continue to return every year so it feels like they have watched the cottage change too. The cottage is really wonderful for 10 people. It is large enough to all gather in the main areas but also offers privacy. The back patio is relaxing and perfect for campfires at night. We offer bicycles, a gas grill and charcoal grill.
