Great location
This house was a beautifully laid out clean and comfortable home away from home for the week! We absolutely enjoyed it. A few things to note:
It is off a very busy street so you most definitely hear the traffic all the time. But it’s also extremely convenient for us to get to where we needed to go. A very nice safe neighbourhood IMO.
One downside is that the neighbors dogs barked every morning at 6am without fail near the master bedroom. If you’re an early riser then maybe it wouldn’t be a problem. If you can handle a quick 10-15 min bark session in the morning than you’ll be fine ;) Something the property owner has no control over unfortunately.
With the renovation of the property I’m surprised better windows were not installed to help with noise and even with keeping the heat out. The curtains in the master could be darker & longer or not as see through to help keep the rising sun out of the room in the morning.
Even with the noise we still enjoyed the backyard lounging and pool. Yoga on the backyard turf in the morning and the pool was perfect for a dip to cool off. We didn’t get it heated but when it’s 38 degrees out it wasn’t necessary. Not really a “swimming” pool but more to relax and float in as it’s not deep at all.
The beds were clean, comfortable and the house was truly beautiful and functional for a smaller group. We would definitely come back to this location.
Drew was a fantastic host and helped quickly when we needed him!! A++++ host!
